Hopefully you are right. One thing Brady does have (besides being one of the all time greats) is that he has access to Tommy House.RaiderFan1 wrote: Wed Dec 10, 2025 11:30 am It doesn't matter what the draft gurus think or what you think or any of us think about the QB's. All that matters is what Tom Brady thinks. That is one advantage that the Raiders have. Unfortunately the fans and the public will never know what Tom Brady truly thinks of these top 3 QB prospects in this draft. Even if he chooses one of them, he can only say positive things about him, and all we will know is he likes this one better than the other two options.. that doesn't mean he thinks the QB we choose has all the skill and intangibles that he's looking for..
Just imagine how much they would troll you for losing out on your franchise qb. I actually hope they make the playoffs so they have another draft with low picks.Attyla wrote: Wed Dec 10, 2025 6:01 am It makes for a good conversation as long as I am not told I am a bad fan for wanting the win. But I am in the boat of wanting to kill off their season. It makes me happy to see all the bandwagon Chiefs fans around here get dicked.
Winning a 3rd game drops us to #7, ahead only of Arizona. To get back to #2 from there would require 4-5 of the other lowlifes to win another game.Trainnvain wrote: Wed Dec 10, 2025 6:45 am If the Raiders still end up with the second pick after beating the Chiefs and eliminating them, that would be the best of both worlds. Moore is a good consolation prize for Mendoza
If I were him I would transfer to LSU, imagine him under Kiffin for a year ?Attyla wrote: Wed Dec 10, 2025 7:26 am nothing official from his camp but I would stay another year if I were him. But I had to include a bit on him because if he comes out he is considered a first day pick by a lot of people.
Cruisin with Tooz wrote: Mon Dec 08, 2025 2:20 am The SOS tiebreaker with NYG is a moot point unless that game ends in a tie and we both finish 2-14-1, otherwise our records wont be tied, so there would be no tiebreaker. If we both finish with 3 wins, the tiebreaker is for all intents and purposes moot because with 3 wins we'd be lucky to have as high as the 5th pick.
The only SOS tiebreaker that has any relevance for us is with Ten, as it is likely we both finish with 2 wins each. If some how both Ten and us finish with 3 wins, again the tiebreaker is kind of moot, as neither of us would be looking at a top 5 pick.
Our tiebreaker lead with Ten is very secure. Ten's opponents current combined win total is 126 wins. Ours is 119.5. So we currently have a 6.5 win lead.
There are only 65 games left on the NFL schedule. A 6.5 win lead doesnt sound like much, but 20 of those 65 games will have no effect because they are between teams that neither we nor Ten has played or they involve Cle or NE as one of the teams.
Another 12 of the 65 games will automatically increase our lead by 1 game no matter who wins (eg any intradivision game involving the NFC west or AFC south or any interdivision involving an AFC south team and an NFC west team).
There are another 14 of 65 games that will decrease our lead by 1 game no matter who wins (any intradivision game involving AFC west teams or NFC east teams or any game between an AFC west team and an NFC east team). The net result of those 26 fixed outcome games is that it will shrink our lead over Ten from 6.5 wins to 4.5 wins.
For Ten to get the tiebreaker, they would have to make up that 4.5 win deficit in the remaining 19 games(=65-20-12-14). These 19 games are what will determine the SOS tiebreaker. 9 of these 19 games (Group 1 below) have 1 Ten opponent vs a Ten non-opponent (eg LAR vs Atl), so the outcomes of those games will either leave our lead unchanged(if ATL wins) or increase it by 1 win (if LAR win), potentially causing a 1 win positive swing. 7 of the 19 (Group 2 below) have one of our opponents against a non-opponent (eg Min vs NYG), so the outcomes of those games will either leave our lead unchanged (if Min wins) or decrease it by 1 win (if NYG wins), potentially causing a 1 negative win swing. The final 3 of the 19 have 1 of our unique or more heavily weighted opponents vs one of Ten's unique or more heavily weighted opponents (Chi vs SF, Den vs Jax and LAC vs Hou). The results of those 3 games either will increase or decrease our lead by 1 win, resulting in a 2 win swing.
To put this in magic number terms in these 19 games, our magic number is 6, Ten's magic number is 17.
These are the 19 games: Group 1 and Group 2 games reduce the magic number by 1. Group 3 games reduce the magic number by 2.
Group 1
Nyj vs Jax, Car vs NO, Det vs Rams, NYJ vs NO, Atl vs Ari, Cin vs Ari, Car vs Sea, Atl vs Rams, Atl vs NO
Group 2
Cle vs Chi, GB vs Den, Min Vs Dal, GB vs Chi, Min vs NYG, Buf vs Phi, Det vs Chi
Group 3
Chi vs SF, Den vs Jax, Lac vs Hou

He doesnt have the "It" factor, pass. He has the size but hes basically a taller derek carr. I doubt we are allowed to pass on a QB in the 1st round though, heads would roll.Hellbound wrote: Mon Dec 08, 2025 5:35 am What if this dude doesn't even declare. What if none of them declare?
Brady has dick to say about shit. Even if he did, let's take a hypothetical look at what his input provided.RaiderFan1 wrote: Wed Dec 10, 2025 11:30 am It doesn't matter what the draft gurus think or what you think or any of us think about the QB's. So you saying Brady has no input on the draft pick but it's all his fault for last years picks?Opoponax50 wrote: Thu Dec 11, 2025 7:45 pm Brady has dick to say about shit. Even if he did, let's take a hypothetical look at what his input provided.
The list of bad things is too long and unnecessary to write, so I'll wait for the good things.
I refuse to entertain this beyond the end of this sentence.FLORIDARAYDAH wrote: Thu Dec 11, 2025 7:47 pm So you saying Brady has no input on the draft pick bit it's all his fault for last years picks?

I agree. His fingerprints are all over itAttyla wrote: Fri Dec 12, 2025 4:43 am There is little doubt in my mind who was the main influence on the draft and that is Carroll.
or, and this is equally possible, we are going to win one of the stretch games and people are going to lose their minds. Both have an equal possibility of happening. Football is a funny thing.RI RAIDER wrote: Fri Dec 12, 2025 5:51 am Lets make this simple. After this weekend when the Giants beat the Commanders, we control our own destiny. Sorry to the folks who want us to win.
