If all 4 declare then i have Simpson as the 4th guy just based on upside, i think teams might value the higher upsides of Moore & SellersAttyla wrote: Wed Dec 10, 2025 6:56 am Other than his final game, give Simpson a look. He has been pretty damn sharp. Every QB has a bad game every so often and he is no exception. The one that has the most upside is also the biggest project and that is Sellers. Big frame guy with would class speed and an arm that does not disappoint. But I don't think we want a project with a massive ceiling. His tape screams Richardson. Probably a bit better than Richardson but he took a step back this year which makes me shy about him.
Mendoza & Moore are clear 1 & 2 which i feel means Moore will declare as all the NIL in the world won’t get pay him as much as the 2nd overall pick money especially if he doesn't progress next year
I think i’d be happy with any of them as for once we had drafted our guy for the first time in over a decade even if it was Sellers who wasnt quite ready
If Mateer comes he could be an interesting choice to maybe trade back into the 1st round for aswell

nothing official from his camp but I would stay another year if I were him. But I had to include a bit on him because if he comes out he is considered a first day pick by a lot of people.rcraider wrote: Wed Dec 10, 2025 7:21 am Sellers isn't coming out, if he's smart he hits the transfer portal, but he seems to be loyal to SC .

Simpson is widely considered the most NFL ready guy, but it is 1A and 1B with Mendoza. Lot of stuff will change as the playoffs get going with a lot of college ball left to play.CWood24 wrote: Wed Dec 10, 2025 7:25 am If all 4 declare then i have Simpson as the 4th guy just based on upside, i think teams might value the higher upsides of Moore & Sellers

Its a crap shoot with any QB. Teams and draft guru's have been getting it wrong for the most part for decades. I am not even going to speculate who is the best. I really do not think none of the top QB's have differentiated themselves. Obviously its a HUGE advantage drafting at #1. You have 4 months to dissect these kids while also digesting what teams would give up for the pick.

I agree with this to a large part. I do think Mendoza has done enough. He would have beat the hell out of Ward and Ward went number one.RI RAIDER wrote: Wed Dec 10, 2025 8:06 am Its a crap shoot with any QB. Vinny B said Monday they’re only gonna consider Mendoza/Moore at the top & if they end up @ #2 they’re taking one of them.
He said he’s been told Moore is coming out

#1. You would not be a bad fan, you're just a short term thinker not a long-term thinker. The Raiders future wont change until they get a franchise QB. You value 1 loss for an opponent more then you value the Raiders getting the guarantted opportunity to get the #1 QB in this Draft class (which massively ups the odds for the Raiders obtaining a true franchise QB). If this is "truly" how your mind thinks, then you're a person that doesnt want to make a sacrifice in the near term for a better longer term future. Its part of human nature, and the world needs ditch diggers too. Thank you for your serviceAttyla wrote: Wed Dec 10, 2025 6:01 am It makes for a good conversation as long as I am not told I am a bad fan for wanting the win. But I am in the boat of wanting to kill off their season. It makes me happy to see all the bandwagon Chiefs fans around here get dicked.
#2. You plagarized the Chiefs/playoffs scenario from "Your Boy Q''s "LOCKED ON RAIDERS" podcast. The question is posed at the 24:28 time stamp of the most recent video titled "raiders head coach job security rumors"

1. No, you know nothing about my thought processes, so don't pretend to think you do. I am quite capable of both short term and long term thought. My disdain for the notion of throwing that particular game is quite personal. I realize what we need quite well and I also know reasonably who is out there in the draft. If we get denied the QB in this draft, I know reasonably that the 2027 draft should be fairly loaded at QB.RaiderFan1 wrote: Wed Dec 10, 2025 11:21 am #1. 2. No, I did not. I do not listen to that podcast. It was an original thought. Just because someone else thought about that does not even factor into this conversation.
You make a lot of accusations about me without even knowing me or even asking any questions. You just assumed.

It doesn't matter what the draft gurus think or what you think or any of us think about the QB's. All that matters is what Tom Brady thinks. That is one advantage that the Raiders have. Unfortunately the fans and the public will never know what Tom Brady truly thinks of these top 3 QB prospects in this draft. Even if he chooses one of them, he can only say positive things about him, and all we will know is he likes this one better than the other two options.. that doesn't mean he thinks the QB we choose has all the skill and intangibles that he's looking for..RI RAIDER wrote: Wed Dec 10, 2025 8:06 am Its a crap shoot with any QB. Maybe Q plagiarized Attyla's thoughts. By the way, I had the same thought, and didn't listen to Q's podcast. As it turns out, a scenario that's actually possible could be imagined by more than one person without one having stolen the idea from the other. Weird.
I was thinking about it last week, when it seemed like more of an actual possible scenario than it is now - given that the Chiefs can actually be mathematically eliminated this weekend.

We can out-lose the Chiefs any day of the week. This is actually something we are very good at.Attyla wrote: Wed Dec 10, 2025 5:37 am So I got a question, here is the scenario:
We have the number 1 pick in the draft going into the final week of the season, and we play the Chiefs
We lose and retain the number 1 pick in the draft
We win and we eliminate the Chiefs who are a win and in team
What do you hope for given that? I know it is unlikely that the Chiefs get in but this is actually a possibility.

I’ve gotten to the point that I question everything that comes from the media. Didn’t Brady supposedly have strong ties with Sanders and it was even discussed at some point last year before the draft I believe about us possibly trading up to grab him. We all know how that played out.RaiderFan1 wrote: Wed Dec 10, 2025 11:30 am It doesn't matter what the draft gurus think or what you think or any of us think about the QB's. I just don’t think Brady has as much say about who our next Qb is as everyone thinks. Just because you were a great player doesn’t necessarily make you a great evaluator.
