His absence has been noticeable. Hopefully he shows back up. This has been an enjoyable season thus far. Kubiak has them punching above their weight.

I believe the Vegas line as of today is 9.5 wins. Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong. That’s just what my buddy with a severe gambling addiction texted me from the casino at 6:30am

I’m not sure why this thread was started? 1/2 the people are saying they agreed with his takes and the other 1/2 are saying they are happy with a break from them. Isn’t it normal for life to take people away from Internet forums from time to time. I think if you’re worried PM him but a thread like this is just teeing him up to take some shots. I personally didn’t really see eye to eye with him but that’s just part of life, you will never agree/like every single persons opinions or delivery and that’s ok.

I disagree with this, the problem is after the second or third back and forth it just turns into insults and not debating with a lot of posters(I’m guilty of this also). That’s not being too sensitive, it’s not wanting a toxic environment.mstrbass2000 wrote: Mon Sep 28, 2026 7:31 am personally i like guys that are more upfront in their beliefs...my problem is the board is too sensitive to having good back and forth that allows actual points to finish on their own ...everyone has opinions, some right and some wrong

His takes were not the issue. His response to those who disagreed with those takes are the issue. I have no problem with a passionate take and he was passionate. He rubbed some wrong with his insistence that is takes were beyond reproach and he could be a bit to very insulting with those who took him on. Like I said, we tussled a couple times but there is no question he did his homework. I PMed hm telling him I saw that he was visiting and he should just come back and express himself. I got cricketsLayneStaley wrote: Mon Sep 28, 2026 3:24 pm I’m not sure why this thread was started? 1/2 the people are saying they agreed with his takes and the other 1/2 are saying they are happy with a break from them. perhaps he is just taking a break away from the forum, as I do from time to time. conversation on here can sometimes get repetitive.

Yep and being a fan is supposed to be fun. When it's not it's time to walk away, maybe for a time, maybe forever..Trainnvain wrote: Sun Sep 27, 2026 7:39 pm I agree, differing viewpoints make this place interesting and it would be boring if we all agreed. Boknows has an extended timeout from the site for good reason. It's not because he has strong opinions, it's because of personal attacks in the forums and in personal messages when people disagree with his opinions. I think Trainnvain said it well:
I'll lock this thread so people can get back to disagreeing about the the Raiders.Trainnvain wrote: Sun Sep 27, 2026 7:39 pm I agree, differing viewpoints make this place interesting and it would be boring if we all agreed.
