His absence has been noticeable. Hopefully he shows back up. This has been an enjoyable season thus far. Kubiak has them punching above their weight.

Im sure after we lose & Kirk has a bad game he'll be here to pound his chest
Well.... there are a number of people on here that thought/think the same thing. Just sayin'.

BUT.
I still say the worst thing that can happen is that Kirk keeps us in playoff contention right to the final game, we miss the playoffs, and Mendoza never plays a snap.
I'm sure Mendoza will play at some point during the season. Kubiak is a smart guy... he knows his #1 QB needs to get a taste of meaningfull NFL playing time. He may sit the whole season, but he will get some playing time when the situation allows.

Personally like the guy but I also don’t always agree with his takes. Doesn’t surprise as I’ve been described by people who know me quite well as being direct and abrasive. Maybe, just maybe, it was my take that wasn’t logical. The best part about it is I can choose to respond or not and many times I choose not to. I try to read most posts and look forward to seeing his again.

Dr Death wrote: Mon Sep 28, 2026 4:03 am I actually liked a lot of his takes on the team. I agreed with him quite a bit. I don't agree with everyone here all the time, so..................... Everyone has opinions. I'll listen to all of them. Maybe I agree, maybe I don't. I don't let any poster ruin the forum for me...lol.
I agreed with a lot of his takes as well. I won't let someone ruin the forum for me either. His angry dickhead schtick just gets old. Repeating the same thing over and over and over as if your opinion is the only answer kills conversations. I get there are always lonely people out there with nothing better to do but play the antagonist on multiple forums.
I welcome different opinions it keeps it Interesting. Arguing the same thing 100 times a day gets old though and many people just stay out of the conversation rather than rehash old crap over and over. JMHO

We went from expecting maybe 6 wins to losing our shit when the team falls behind one score.

Its still a total rebuild. Breath, enjoy, but be realistic. There will be bad games.

personally i like guys that are more upfront in their beliefs...my problem is the board is too sensitive to having good back and forth that allows actual points to finish on their own ...everyone has opinions, some right and some wrong

with the team 3-0 i dont see a change anytime soon (wk-9-10 now) and if we beat the chiefs next week that will move it even further into the future barring injury to capt kirk

Who gave you those numbers? I would pounce on that. Every source I saw had us at 5.5 with the one exception that had us at 6.

...I think that I predicted 8 or 9 winds, but we haven't won more than 3 until we have, so that still means nothing.....
