Same age - did you make it?Xramfan wrote: Wed Jun 03, 2026 8:27 am The other day I was walking across a 4x12 on edge that spanned the 14' creek between my house and the neighbors. Probably 10' high over some water and rip rap. I was halfway across and suddenly realized my balance isnt what it used to be and now at 61 and I was being very foolish. Dang

I'm a bit older...but first thing in the morning, if something doesn't leak, squeak, or hurt, it means I'm dead.NewEraX25 wrote: Wed Jun 03, 2026 9:24 am Hell I was playing first base for 8U baseball practice trying to rope in all their crazy ass throws, my 46 year old body moved in more unnatural ways, and man am I feeling it today.

I bought a new riding mower and the f'ing thing doesn't work. I've been able to use it 4 times and they're picking it up for warranty work today for the third time.Xramfan wrote: Wed Jun 03, 2026 8:27 am The other day I was walking across a 4x12 on edge that spanned the 14' creek between my house and the neighbors. I spent two hours earlier this week push-mowing over an acre of grass.
Don't ever buy a Cub Cadet. It's literally the worst piece of machinery I've ever had the misfortune to purchase.

Finally clicked on this thread. This is pretty damn funny. Your son was quick witted at 14 years old.Rabidraider wrote: Wed Jun 03, 2026 9:10 am I did the same thing while fishing with my son years ago. He was about 14. I was covered in mud. So I removed all my cloths except my underwear to drive home in my new Jeep. My son said while driving home "If we get pulled over I'm going to tell the cop I don't know you and you just picked me up." Always the wise ass....lol

Lol. I assume that you immediately slowed down and obeyed all traffic lights and stop signs!
