Take your pick... it's probably a non sequitur at this point.

In the slow off-season, everyone’s looking for a story especially one that gets clicks. It’s the off-season so rinse and repeat. But I am at least optimistic about this off-season.

I hope he's as good as people think he is.

Our secondary was such garbage last year that we had to do whatever it took to improve it. Sometimes that involves overpaying but swapping late round picks isnt a really big deal.

Will, it was a general reaction to everyone. Used your comment as a springboard.

Yeah, pretty much my feelings too...I really liked the move for Johnson and like I said, the #6 for #7 draft picks swap should be a non-issue, IMO...and the Bills just wanted to clear some cap room and the Raiders wanted a starting DB and they gladly took took on his contract.

We are so used to the sky falling we expect it every off season.

At our age we should all stay away from any springboards

....perhaps, cautiously hopeful......

....as far as myself, as I have said all along, I like the pick up, as the guy seems to have a knack for playing big when they (the bills) needed a play, and it is not like we can't use ta 'wily veteran' (....) in that group....

The other day I was walking across a 4x12 on edge that spanned the 14' creek between my house and the neighbors. Probably 10' high over some water and rip rap. I was halfway across and suddenly realized my balance isnt what it used to be and now at 61 and I was being very foolish. Dang

I did the same thing while fishing with my son years ago. He was about 14. I was covered in mud. So I removed all my cloths except my underwear to drive home in my new Jeep. My son said while driving home "If we get pulled over I'm going to tell the cop I don't know you and you just picked me up." Always the wise ass....lol

Same thing happened to me at about that age...my gyroscope just isn't what it used to be.

When I was a kid there wasn't a tree so tall that I wouldn't climb up it, but now I get nervous whenever I'm on a step ladder...not really scared of heights, instead, my fear is now FALLING from heights.

Hell I was playing first base for 8U baseball practice trying to rope in all their crazy ass throws, my 46 year old body moved in more unnatural ways, and man am I feeling it today.
