My last pair. Can’t wait to get more. Have to buy another house. Sold all my stuff to start a business. Now I’m expanding it so hopefully soon I’ll be able to buy another house and get more.

Cruisin with Tooz wrote: Tue May 12, 2026 7:56 pm How many years do you think the law allows for involuntary manslaughter? In many states its 2-4 years. In some, its as much as 10 years. In the federal system, its 1-8 years. His sentence of 9 years is at the high end of the spectrum, and even if he is paroled after 3 years, its what he would have served in many US states.
You made a great point; he actually got a hard sentence compared to say if this happened in another state….

I adore GSD's, they just break my heart with how hard the wheels come off. It's too much dog for too little time. My first one I only had for 6 years.

I love dogs..... My family always had boxers. But my 4 dogs of my own have all been rescue mutts - each one amazing in their own way. They've been my best mountain biking partners - every trail is their favorite.

I had a boxer. Best dogs ever IMO. Lived til he was 12 and then I had to put him down.

I'm not sure we ever had a boxer who made it to 12...... they're beautiful gentle dogs, but don't usually have a long life.

Yep. I was blessed to have him live to 12. Very rare.

My Border/Aussie rocking his gameday fit. He's always excited to put on his Raider gear and head to Grandpa's house to watch the game with the whole family.

Toast wrote: Tue May 12, 2026 7:56 pm Well, I am partial to Springers but I also have three of them. Great with the kids growing up and excellent day to day companions. One is with me every day. I am fortunate have the kind of occupation that allows me to take my dog with me. It's no small irony that I named him Gannon.

I hadn't read where Ruggs is blaming the social anxiety of fame and fortune he didn't seek as an excuse for what happened. Yeah, ok that's why he was driving 154 in his 2020 C8 Vette? That's a great way to be on the down low.
Knowing your occupation, I can’t think of a better life for your dog honestly. Not many have that opportunity and freedom.

This is Ranger, he is fast being part whippet.
Image

This is Maisy. Don’t ask, Mrs Willmark named her.
Image

Both are rescues. Ranger was found in a shopping cart as little puppy in Texas. No one knows how long he was there.

Maisy was saved from a woman who was her “owner.” Maisy was on the verge of death and almost didn’t make it because the woman was barely feeding her and not giving her water. Yeah people suck…

Her paws are the size of snowshoes, she never grew into them as they are still huge. Her ears? Typical GSD radar dishes but she’s 100% deaf.

My wife named my dachshund "Shotzie" from the 70's show dog.
