Never have figured out why the NFL refs aren't full time. It's just horse s**t

Not only were they hammered for there moves in free agency they are now getting hammered over being the shady shits they truly are. Guessing, keeping quiet and low and let time do its thing?

Because they would have to pay them more yet and a lot of refs already have very successful careers.
That said, there are plenty of people that would be NFL exclusive, just several would probably quit, oh well.
The buddy I know gets two really nice paychecks.

That game had so much shit happen in the 4th, total hidden classic of a game.
You can't stick a folded index card between a ball if it's a first down. On top of it the NFL told him and every other official not to ever do that. Ipso facto... big mistake to make us look dumb. Which, they already have done a superb job at for years on end. Now they have guys like him up in the booth explaining away calls...

We needed a LT because Veldheer went to Arizona. Saffold was a free agent, Maxx was not. Maxx was, you know, traded for two 1st round picks. Big difference. No sweat off the rams nose or Saffold's for that matter as other teams wanted to sign him as a free agent. In this case they agreed to a trade and now reneged on the deal (2nd time now for them) and now it goofs us up. HUGE difference. Oh, and Bisciotti is SCUM!
No point being made, but it was definitely a case of buyers remorse, the Raiders signed Saffold for a large contract and supposedly Mark stepped in and squashed the deal and a failed physical was the reason given

With all the money that goes through hands in the NFL you would think that they wouldn't be allowed to have control over there own officiating. One of the reasons I gave up on my season tickets and I don't purchase anything new NFL related not even Raiders merchandise. Watched to many shady calls over the years.

Saffold was a free agent. Maxx was not. The rams didn't go out and get all these picks and sign them to contracts only for us to say no go now you go figure it out to bad for you. Nobody is buying Bisciotti's story. And this is the second time he has done this. Saffold the free agent signed with his old team but could have signed elsewhere as a free agent. But now we have to figure out what to do with Maxx.

We recall how close that was, everyone said wow that is so close, is it a first or not? People were dumbfounded how close it ways.
This is how rules and laws are made, there wasn't a precedent about putting a card to see if there is wiggle/light etc, is reasonable on the spot.
The NFL decided, no we don't want to do it. It could have been also ok'd in some manner as well. Nothing stupid.
Tolerances can sometimes be so close you need extra help.
It did catch everyone off guard because it was so close.

So now they have this long ass delay with that tennis system which works fine there and feels legit.
But the NFL has made it slow and it feels questionable and phony.

Max plus 1st overall pick to Cincinnati for Joe Burrow plus a 2026 2nd round pick. Who says no?

And there you have it. That is the NFL in a nutshell. Questionable and phony.

Doesn't a week go by without a whole bunch of questionable and phony calls and decade after decade of the NFL trotting out the same lousy product it has had control of. The upshot of this all is it's not just what they call on a team but what they let other teams get away with. Crosby and that Monday night game with Mayfield I was pointing out much earlier as one example in a sea of examples. No reason whatsoever to keep control of a product (the refs) that you have never gotten right.

I talk to the Browns, Bengals and Steelers, take the best offer. During the press conference of why we took that deal, Spytek looks right at the camera, states "twice a season, F the Ravens" drops mic, walks away.

Now we all have to just hold our on and hope that ALL of the other FA acquisitions we've made/offered happen tomorrow at 12pm ET. Especially Trey. IF we don't get him and he goes back to the ravens, then the NFL HAS to step in and penalize baltimore and penalize them huge. Would that happen, who knows.

Also if the ravens just happen to sign Trey Hendrikson then the NFL needs to void that FA acquisition and penalize them heavily.

Just going to have to sit around and watch what happens the next 15 hours.

one final thing, NFL needs to end this type of bullshit happening by not allowing any kind of early before the start of the nfl season any type of player acquisitors.
So NFL transactions for the new year are not allowed to take place until the official start of the NFL season which then would make ALL of the trades, Free Agency signings, everything set in stone and shit like this bullshit the assholes in balt pulled can't happen.
This was the way it was prior to the legal tampering period. There were plenty of back door deals. Unfortunately, these are ALL gentlemen agreements and anyone can reneg. In a way it's self policing as no one should want to do any type of business with the team backing out.
