It seems like at this point, best path forward is to keep him. Presumably the other deals we had on the table are not there anymore. You might have heavily discounted offers from some of those teams but you quickly get the point of trading him for the sake of trading him.
At the very least, I don’t think anything happens quick. If we’re still trying to get a haul from him, I think your best bet is to wait, try to reset the market and maybe target a draft night trade

But some geniuses on here are saying he sucks and he only pads his stats because he "plays so many snaps"... or some shit like that.Sold My Soul wrote: Tue Mar 10, 2026 8:16 pm Looking at Crosby’s ranking in PFSN’s EDGE Impact Metric, Crosby was ranked 2nd in 2021, 1st in 2022, 6th in 2023, 1st in 2024, and 2nd in 2025.
These are elite rankings, and even when dealing with injuries throughout that time, Crosby has not slowed down. Teams knew this when he was made available this offseason, which is why the Ravens’ decision was so shocking.

I'm almost glad the trade didn't go through. Losing Maxx Crosby would be the same as losing Derek Carr. That asshole McDaniels released Carr and we still haven't found a QB to replace him. We can't do without our best passrusher.

There may be a good deal that materializes yet. Listening to Sirius and a lot of teams are scrambling right now to figure out how to react to this news. Maybe a new player, who struck out in free agency so far, emerges.raiders93 wrote: Tue Mar 10, 2026 9:03 pm It seems like at this point, best path forward is to keep him. Does a 2nd expedite anything versus just keeping Crosby?

The stance should be two firsts or f[raiders_icon]ck off
It should not be a big deal to keep him here if we don’t get what we ask for. Don’t let the ravens be the reason your price gets lower. We have the leverage here.

If he does come back its going to be extremely awkward for all parties involved. We were all celebrating a couple days ago, and I'm sure Spytek and Brady were giving each other high fives for a great trade. Its just a really weird situation all around. The only good thing is Kubiak is new so he can play dumb about the whole situation.
Or he knows it's a business and he shows up for work like he does everyday. One of my teammates in HS and I were both Raider fans growing up and talked mad shit on the Cowboys constantly... he ended up getting drafted by the Cowboys and immediately went out and got a star tattoo and all that.

Multi-billion dollar business that has billions of dollars in bets made every season and has its official referees calling games as a side-hustle from their full time jobs.16 to 88 wrote: Tue Mar 10, 2026 8:17 pm Yeah, what cracks me up this is such an easy fix like the officiating and the scheduling but for whatever reason a multi BILLION dollar business just can't seem to figure it out.

Well f[raiders_icon]ck.
Now we all have to just hold our on and hope that ALL of the other FA acquisitions we've made/offered happen tomorrow at 12pm ET. Especially Trey. IF we don't get him and he goes back to the ravens, then the NFL HAS to step in and penalize baltimore and penalize them huge. Would that happen, who knows.
Also if the ravens just happen to sign Trey Hendrikson then the NFL needs to void that FA acquisition and penalize them heavily.
Just going to have to sit around and watch what happens the next 15 hours.
one final thing, NFL needs to end this type of bullshit happening by not allowing any kind of early before the start of the nfl season any type of player acquisitors.
So NFL transactions for the new year are not allowed to take place until the official start of the NFL season which then would make ALL of the trades, Free Agency signings, everything set in stone and shit like this bullshit the assholes in balt pulled can't happen.

It’s crazy the Ravens haven’t made an official statement yet. I would think future FAs would think about this, this isn’t a one time instance.

We needed a LT because Veldheer went to Arizona. Saffold was a free agent, Maxx was not. Maxx was, you know, traded for two 1st round picks. Big difference. No sweat off the rams nose or Saffold's for that matter as other teams wanted to sign him as a free agent. In this case they agreed to a trade and now reneged on the deal (2nd time now for them) and now it goofs us up. HUGE difference. Oh, and Bisciotti is SCUM!

The Raiders have cap space to handle all the signings plus Maxx. You have teams that have NO cap space making multiple signings. The cap is a scam. The Raiders can easily handle it. The real question is, does a team still trade for him? At similar great value?
Another question is, do the Raiders still offer the same contracts for Paye/Koonce. If no team will Anty up for Maxx you don't trade him, that simple. He's a hell of a player. If that's the scenario I'm not sure you still pay Koonce. Also if Maxx stays on the team, his ass is going to take more snaps off than he ever has. Especially if they keep both Koonce/Paye. His days of running things with his outburts are OVER if he stays.
Also, if he stays I wouldn't touch his contract. No raise, no nothing. He's got 4 years on his deal at a bargain while Maxx still makes big money by any human beings standards. The Raiders hold all the cards.

Guy who officiated the game in my avatar and was told by the league to never do that again (stupid mistake) was not only NOT punished for it, but was met with reward! He was the head official of the Super Bowl that year and now is a "officiating analyst" on one of the channels. You seriously can not make this stuff up. BILLIONS and BILLIONS of dollars in profits with 10 cent officiating crews...GoodTimeCharlie wrote: Tue Mar 10, 2026 9:13 pm Multi-billion dollar business that has billions of dollars in bets made every season and has its official referees calling games as a side-hustle from their full time jobs.

I'm not sure what he did wrong, seemed like an IQ move, totally funny, totally memorable and with correct results.16 to 88 wrote: Tue Mar 10, 2026 9:32 pm Guy who officiated the game in my avatar and was told by the league to never do that again (stupid mistake) was not only NOT punished for it, but was met with reward!
