In hearing Brian Daboll to the Bills.
He served as the Buffalo Bills' offensive coordinator from 2018 to 2021. He is widely credited with the significant development of quarterback Josh Allen during that period, transforming the Bills' offense into one of the top units in the NFL.

Daboll to the bills would be fantastic. Takes the only remaining team with a top qb off the coach market

Id like to see Davis Webb, currently the pass game coordinator and QB coach for Denver hired as OC. A promotion going from
PGC/QC -> OC
And Klint Kubiak as HC, currently the Seahawks Offensive Coordinator.
He comes from the successful Kyle Shanahan/Gary Kubiak coaching tree and is highly regarded for his offensive mind. Another promotion OC-> HC
Thats my dream hiring.
Two young minds with a talented young offensive core.
Webb can continue the rise to HC as i dont know if hes ready just yet for that position.
We really never talked DC.
The Defense needs alot of help at all 3 levels. But im ok with the defense growing while the offense builds chemistry.

Raider fans
“I just want the GM to hire the coach, and the coach to be able to hire his own staff.”
Also Raider fans…
“I want to pair all of our head coach candidates together on one staff even though several of them have no coaching ties or scheme similarities.”
I joke, but in all seriousness, with the exception of Scheelhaase on LaFleur’s staff, I don’t see any of these guys working together.

I really hope for my GFs sake the bills don’t hire daboll. He sucks. They’d be better off keeping Brady. The offense improved quite a bit under him.

[Russini] Former New York Giants coach Brian Daboll will meet with owner Terry Pegula, Brandon Beane and other key Bills decision-makers today. The 50-year-old’s top choice is to become Buffalo’s next head coach.RaiderFan1 wrote: Thu Jan 22, 2026 5:14 pm Where did you hear this ? Do you mind sharing the source ?

So, it's Daboll's preference... not the Bills?SkullCrusher wrote: Thu Jan 22, 2026 5:28 pm [Russini] Former New York Giants coach Brian Daboll will meet with owner Terry Pegula, Brandon Beane and other key Bills decision-makers today. Any coach we choose needs 3 years minimum. If it's Webb .... 3 years. Enough with the coach a year thing.RaiderFan1 wrote: Thu Jan 22, 2026 4:04 pm Now, I see only the Bills Job as a better team over the Raidrs, for HC Candidates, especially the offensive coaching candidates.
The tweets i saw said Mike McDaniels agreement with chargers still allows him to accept a Head coaching job (and has interest from Bills & Raiders). Have you guys seen anything that suggests thats not true ?
Currently the Best offensive minds avail for HC is
Kubiak, McDaniels, Webb, M. Lafleur, Scheelhouse
If we cant get Kubiak, i hate to say it, bit I think McDaniels is much safer then Webb, Lafleur (McVay calls plays/like OC's under Fat Andy), and Scheehouse (same as La Fleur).
I would be happy with Webb even though he is a massive risk, and we could be looking for a new HC again next year.
Are you guys ok with that if we choose Webb and need new coach next year, or would you blame mark and say its his fault if that were to happen ?
McDaniels is the safest to be honest, even over Kubiak whos only been OC with 3 year experience, 2 years with average results, and odds are McDaniels would give the most consistency for Mendoza for multiple years.
Damn Tough call for a GM.
but considering risk, I think the order should be
1. Kubiak
2. McDaniels
3. Webb
4. Lafleur
5. Scheelhaase
My ideal combination would be
KUBIAK as HC with Webb as OC
Or
McDaniels as HC with Webb as OC
I really hope we can steal webb away from the Broncos to be our OC.

It’s my preference to fall asleep next to Sydney Sweeney. Unfortunately, that does not increase the chances of it happening.riseNraid09 wrote: Thu Jan 22, 2026 5:31 pm So, it's Daboll's preference... not the Bills?

That makes the most sense. I hope the Bills want him for our sake, but might just be an interview out of respect for Daboll and his connection to the team.riseNraid09 wrote: Thu Jan 22, 2026 5:31 pm So, it's Daboll's preference... not the Bills?
