Just read that McDermott recently praised Jacksonville’s acquisition of Jakobi Meyers and everyone around the Bills saw it as a shot at Beane for not getting him. If true, McDermott obviously was pushing for him.

I didn't want to trade Meyers, but if he was traded I wanted it to be to the Bills. I think Josh Allen would have loved him. I also think there's a really good chance that the Bills would still be playing this weekend.

He'll be seeing Klint Kubiak, Mike LaFleur, Chris Shula and Nate Scheelhaase in person in Seattle this week.

You’d have to think that there are people who are pissed that one of our owners gets access to these guys in a manner that they can’t. I can’t see Brady actively recruiting them, but I can see him doing things like telling them in passing how much he enjoys bringing part of the Raiders, how much confidence in, and respect for, he has with Spytek, etc. Sewing those seeds.

I hope they have a solid backup plan in the event the coach that’s at the op of their list opts for one of the other openings. We don’t want Mendoza having to endure another Carroll situation.

Depends on if Kubiak is looking at the situation with the Bills GM and Owner and thinking that it might be dysfunctional. Also wonder if these candidates reach out to the former coaches to see what life was really like.

Read something that said the Bills had serious interest in Webb. He played with Allen and apparently they're close.
