Good of you to try to help him out, but he neither deserves it, nor is worth it. He’s got a fantasy-world stalker-level crush, and will never give up the dream of smoking that coward’s cigar.Oaktown Superman wrote: Sat Jan 10, 2026 1:39 am I did a breakdown of the last four games of 2021 where the Raiders went 4-0 to make the playoffs.
Browns: 25-38 236 yards 1/1
Broncos: 20-25 201 yards 1/1
Colts : 24-31 255 yards 1/2
Chargers: 20-36 186 yards 2/0
In four games, he had 5 TD and 4 INT and averaged 219.5 YPG and 1.25 TD and 1 INT per game. They won those games in spite of Carr, not because. Yes, he's had some huge games and I will not take that from him. But when the pressure got to him, he folded up like a lawn chair.
Bengals playoff game:
30-54 310 yards 1/1
That one INT was an awful throw to a triple covered guy and it was shy of the goal line on 4th and goal. And if my math is right, of those 310 yards, 108 came in the 4th and they two FG's to show for it. For three quarters he had 202 yards.

Currently we have no more confirmed interviews. Wonder if we see any over the weekend. They’ll be more after some teams get knocked out of the play offs. Hoping for a Bears win just to see if Green Bay do something stupid

Oh I know. I was just being a dummy. AP had said it about trading up and most everyone took it hook line & sinker wondering why we didn't/couldn't trade up and when others tried to explain or ask why a qb needy team would move off their draft position, all logic went out the window and most of the time "everyone has a price" is what was saidDanKD wrote: Fri Jan 09, 2026 8:22 pm Im hanging up the phone. Yea he just needs to be bounced permanently at this point. All he does troll. It's annoying. I'd just go to reddit or fb if I wanted that level of conversation. We all troll every once in a while but not to his extremeGoodTimeCharlie wrote: Sat Jan 10, 2026 1:33 am I wholeheartedly and with great exuberance second this gentleman’s fantastic advice given for free to Bono the Clown.

I'm starting to warm up on Davis Webb. I'm hearing the interview was phenomenal. Young up n comer with a brand new QB and some foundational pieces. Idk, sounds like a risk worth taking.

I'm with you on this...considering what's out there why not try something different...God know's our usual methods of HC hiring are unsound at best!BoKnows81 wrote: Sat Jan 10, 2026 6:17 am I'm starting to warm up on Davis Webb. Yea........ I don't know if I'm there yet. I'm usually wrong when it comes to anything with this team, so maybe he's exactly what we need.BoKnows81 wrote: Sat Jan 10, 2026 6:17 am I'm starting to warm up on Davis Webb. What source do you have for a phenomenal interview? Just curious as I’d like to see/read/hear it.BoKnows81 wrote: Sat Jan 10, 2026 6:17 am I'm starting to warm up on Davis Webb. I saw it on Raidersbeat, but it's referencing a Hondo report. I obviously will never listen to the original Hondo report because I don't want my ears to bleed again. Of course Hondo is partial to hyperbole, so take it with a grain of salt. https://www.raidersbeat.com/raiders-int ... henomenal/

Can Webb assemble a staff?
At this point, is there some competent DC willing to spend 2-3 years with Webb as his boss?

Hope there is truth, but I have to consider the source.BoKnows81 wrote: Sat Jan 10, 2026 6:17 am I'm starting to warm up on Davis Webb. I'm hearing the interview was phenomenal. Young up n comer with a brand new QB and some foundational pieces. Idk, sounds like a risk worth taking.

I suspect you can hire a very good DC who's recently been fired from a HC position and hopes to get back to that someday.Be_Easy_25 wrote: Sat Jan 10, 2026 7:05 am Can Webb assemble a staff?

Mark Thewes, Senior VP of Football Operations, was with the Broncos up until joining the Raiders a year ago. So he's likely very familiar with Webb.
Webb is really interesting, but he's just one name at this point - there's a lot more of the process to get through.
