The Raiders won't accept any, but I would think there could be a team or two that would try to see if there's something The Raiders would take based on the feeling they're much more than a QB away.

Yep. We really don’t know the development of the 2 rookie OLs this since it seems we did not have an OL coach this year.Jeevo wrote: Fri Jan 09, 2026 6:44 pm![]()
Yeah, the O is pretty easily fixable by addressing the O line, which is doable with our assets.
Nor do we know the development of JPJ due injury and the coach thing.
The OL may have more potential than we thought.
I am interested to how Leki Fotu develops.

True, but if you’re drafting “the guy” you don’t want to take any chances. If the rookies, JPJ, etc, develop great, gives us excellent depth and we can move them into starting roles in a couple of years. Good problem to have.islandboy wrote: Fri Jan 09, 2026 7:19 pm Yep. Everyone needs competition on the oline. That's how you end up with depth. We don't have any presumptive starters other than Miller, and even he needs a backup. We need to protect our investment in QB with good pass pro and a run game - invest in the oline.Jeevo wrote: Fri Jan 09, 2026 7:22 pm True, but if you’re drafting “the guy” you don’t want to take any chances. Agree 100%. I am just happy that for 2026 the OL will have an actual coach for their position.Jeevo wrote: Fri Jan 09, 2026 7:22 pm True, but if you’re drafting “the guy” you don’t want to take any chances. Yea but everyone has a price
For everyone that thought it was easy or wondered why a qb needy team didn't want to trade out of their spot for a potential franchise qb, this is why

I would be cool with Kubiak, I have heard he is similar to a Shannahan or McVeigh. I think thats the best direction for us to go in. Mike Lafluer is my first choice but I would be cool with Kubiak also. I dont want Harbaugh, hes too expensive and kind of old to rebuild a team, plus the entitlements he demands.

I did a breakdown of the last four games of 2021 where the Raiders went 4-0 to make the playoffs.FlyBono24 wrote: Sat Jan 10, 2026 12:59 am STFU bitch, you know damn well this team was complete shit after he got benched and still to this day they haven't found a QB.

Browns: 25-38 236 yards 1/1
Broncos: 20-25 201 yards 1/1
Colts : 24-31 255 yards 1/2
Chargers: 20-36 186 yards 2/0
In four games, he had 5 TD and 4 INT and averaged 219.5 YPG and 1.25 TD and 1 INT per game. They won those games in spite of Carr, not because. Yes, he's had some huge games and I will not take that from him. But when the pressure got to him, he folded up like a lawn chair.
Bengals playoff game:
30-54 310 yards 1/1
That one INT was an awful throw to a triple covered guy and it was shy of the goal line on 4th and goal. And if my math is right, of those 310 yards, 108 came in the 4th and they two FG's to show for it. For three quarters he had 202 yards.
