New coach ………. Again

What’s your thoughts? I prefer young offensive minded with a fresh DC. Kubiak, Cooter, Kafka and pair them with someone like Al Harris as the DC.

To be fair the Browns have that stench regardless of who’s coaching them. Stefanski can coach.

Well I think it was GM that screwed a lot of things for Stefanski….but he a guy that go to another team and turn things around; not sure he would want to come to the raiders as their too many issues wrong with this team….I mean the raiders have an owner; that is really the team GM; we got a GM; but he has to pass everything past Davis/Brady to get the OK to do that; then we got HC that has to report to Three GM…just crazy…

Just give Spytek the keys to the team and see what he can do with this team….

I never had a problem with Deuce Gruden, or with Pierce's son on staff. You can't hire someone for a key position, unless you're prepared to fire him if the results suck. The results suck. By the way, Gruden's son has actually survived through multiple staffs since Jon Gruden left so maybe he's not that bad - but he's also not in a key position.
...this, obviously.

If rumored reports become reality and Pete is one and done, to have any hope of landing a decent coach the number one pick must be secured.
Phillip Rivers, at 44 years old and being out of the game for 5 years, had a better chance of leading the Colts to the Super Bowl this year than Pete does leading the Raiders to one next year.

I guess the odds increased slightly in Pete’s favor as Rivers retired again plus got eliminated earlier. Still too close to call tho.

This organization has been absolute dogshit for 40 years now. 6 years with double digits in the “Wins” column in the last 40 fcking YEARS. Brady did beat us 6 out of the 7 times the Raiders played against him, so fck him for those, but come on man.

“Davis” is the reason we’ve sucked for the last 40 miserable fcking seasons. We let Big Al slide because he was a legend, but he also helmed the decline as his own ego and mental faculties went sideways. Doofus is a total worthless sack of shit and will ALWAYS make things worse due to being WAY too fcking stupid to ever make the right decision. Our greatest hope is that the fcker dies without producing offspring.

1st pick or not. Mendoza or not. Trade Maxx or not. New Coach. New GM. None of it fcking matters. None of it will ever matter until the Davis era ends.
I know this is an unpopular opinion but to me MD has done a far better job managing the Raiders than I suspected he would have when taking over after ADs passing given the poor state the franchise was in financially/front office wise. The Raiders need to let Spytek have full control over the coaching/draft decisions this offseason if they want to continue their attempt to more modernize their organization.

I know people want an young offensive minded coach like Kubiak but i could see if being Jesse Minter due his links with Brady & Spytek

Minter name hasn't been mentioned much & i think he could be a name we see coming to the fore if Pete is let go, he also does have that Charger’s D playing well & has a good reputation

If it is Minter maybe he brings a young offensive minded guy with him like Marcus Brady with him as OC who will want the chance to prove that he can be an OC on his own after his stint under Frank Reich in Indy

As much as people seem to want a young offensive minded HC having a young defensive minded HC with a a young offensive minded OC would be just as good IMO

I wanted McDonald but I thought he was just next level. Minter doesn’t appear the same to me. The issue is if you hit on the OC he will be poached and in most cases you end up switching systems. I think terminology and consistency wise it’s easier to promote from within on defense.

If you hit on the offensive coach you can keep him and qb together. It seems the offensive guy tends to be longer tenured than the defensive.

What links does Minter have with Brady and Spytek?

Brady brought in Spytek (supposedly). Let him hire a coach, build an organization, implement a vision.
Cuz Brady is like the cheating spouse that wants to look like the family guy all while banging the co Ed’s on the side.

We got playoff games going on & what’s our owner who we had to give a discount to doing? Oh yeah he’s partying at Epstein’s other island & knocking boots with women 1/2 his age. Gee, I’d like to think the guy making football decisions would actually be scouting players in the CFP.

Pathetic part is Spytek might be the answer, but he’s got to answer to all these imbeciles that didn’t put the years in like he did for his job

Whom every the HC is, he needs to hire the best Oline coach money can buy. If we are lucky enough to get our QB we must protect him. That's 2/3 of the Raiders problem. QB and Oline.

To be fair i suppose i’m reaching as it is more of a tentative like them being heavy Michigan guys especially Brady who is still heavily involved in his alma mater, those type of ties . It has been rumoured that those links have Minter as a candidate if Pete gets canned

This narrative that we NEED an young offensive HC is nonsense what we need is a talented coaches who can get the best out of the young players we have whether they are offensive or defensive

I’m really just spitballing a different view on a possible new HC because i do see it as a bit obsessive that people want a offensive HC because if it goes the other way this fan base will shit on it as they usually do when they get an idea in their heads that doesn't happen

I tend to lean towards a young offensive coach as head coach, but it's certainly not the only way to go. 3 teams have 13 wins or more this year and none of them went that route to get there.

I just want a bunch of good young innovative coaches in here which is something we haven’t had in a long time

Kubiak & Minter are my two choices right now to replace Pete

I know there are lots of reports that Carroll is one and done, but all the reports sound like speculation rather than any hint of inside information. I'll be waiting with baited breath to see what happens tomorrow.
