New coach ………. Again

What’s your thoughts? I prefer young offensive minded with a fresh DC. Kubiak, Cooter, Kafka and pair them with someone like Al Harris as the DC.

I ask myself if we had a franchise QB would we have 2?

No is my gut.
This team and staff is worse than the one AP put together

That would be very interesting

And we somehow got worse at every phase of the game. I didn't expect much from Pete but not this disaster

Not sold that Brady is the answer. Just because a guy is the best violinist in the world doesn't mean he would be a great conductor of the orchestra. Different skill sets.

Brady brought in Spytek (supposedly). Let him hire a coach, build an organization, implement a vision.

Very possible he isn't but the fact is he isn't putting all his focus on this team at the moment. That's priority #1. Priority #2 is getting a QB.

Brady could be bad but hed still be 100x better than Davis for decision making.

Kevin Stefanski? His course was largely decided with that awful Watson trade but he is expected to be a hot candidate if fired.

It's not popular but I'd be OK with Stefanski.

Attyla wrote: Sat Jan 03, 2026 1:21 pm I agree with the process, I even agree with one model for how to get it done. I am unsure about the conclusion. It seems like Carroll is falling into the QB by error. Nobody could have intentionally and continuously lost these games not knowing if or who was going to emerge in the draft. We even used a 3rd rounder to get Pete's select QB and that failed. Do you use a day 2 pick to get a failure at QB? If we had intended to get the first overall pick we could have kept Minshew.

I do not buy Carroll did this all intentionally. I think we were just inept. If that were not the case, we would not have hired and fired the most expensive coordinator who we are going to pay for a few more years. I do not see a plan, I see oops we fcked up.
We were inept before Carroll so he didn't have far to go to get to pick 1 or 2.
Maybe he decided to thow money at his guy Geno. At any rate Minshew is as bad, so 6 of 1, all while giving the appearance they're trying. Idk
We can agree that a franchise QB is the number one problem im and Pete knows also. Of all the past coaches he's the only coach to actually get us one.
By chance or late tank idc.

Agreed. Cleveland has a losing stench just like we do.

Feels like Brady needs to get all in… or stay all out. Not a fan of this occasional GM arrangement we seem to have with him. Feels like it could turn dysfunctional. Too many cooks in the kitchen especially if one’s there 7 days a week running things… and one shows up sporadically with a new menu (and he’s a partial owner with final say).

Could turn dysfunctional? COULD?!? Brady agreed to buy a stake in the Raiders May ‘23. He was approved October ‘24. I know there’s a-lot of Brady hate. Whether born of the “tuck rule”, or basic jealousy, or it really doesn’t f[raiders_icon]cking matter.

This organization has been absolute dogshit for 40 years now. 6 years with double digits in the “Wins” column in the last 40 f[raiders_icon]cking YEARS. Brady did beat us 6 out of the 7 times the Raiders played against him, so f[raiders_icon]ck him for those, but come on man.

“Davis” is the reason we’ve sucked for the last 40 miserable f[raiders_icon]cking seasons. We let Big Al slide because he was a legend, but he also helmed the decline as his own ego and mental faculties went sideways. Doofus is a total worthless sack of shit and will ALWAYS make things worse due to being WAY too f[raiders_icon]cking stupid to ever make the right decision. Our greatest hope is that the f[raiders_icon]cker dies without producing offspring.

1st pick or not. Mendoza or not. Trade Maxx or not. New Coach. New GM. None of it f[raiders_icon]cking matters. None of it will ever matter until the Davis era ends.
