According to an incident report, a woman said she had been working for Diggs, and that on Dec. 2, he slapped and choked her.
Diggs and the woman, according to the report, had an ongoing text exchange in the preceding days about payments the woman said Diggs owed her. She claimed Diggs entered her unlocked bedroom and “smacked her across the face. She said that she tried to push him away,” the police report said.
According to the report, Diggs then “tried to choke her using the crook of his elbow around her neck.” The woman claimed she had trouble breathing and “felt like she could have blacked out.”
The woman claimed Diggs tightened his grip around her after she tried to pry his arm away. Diggs then threw her to the bed, according to the report, and the woman mentioned that she still had not been paid by Diggs.
Diggs, according to the incident report, said “Lies!” and left the room.
The woman initially reported the incident to police on Dec. 16, but she said at that time she did not want to press charges. The woman called the police on Dec. 22 and this time expressed interest in pressing charges, which were brought to court on Tuesday.
The woman claimed Diggs still owed her one month’s pay.
Through both his attorney and the Patriots, Diggs denied the allegations.
“Stefon Diggs categorically denies these allegations,” attorney David Meier said in a statement obtained by The Athletic. “They are unsubstantiated, uncorroborated, and were never investigated — because they did not occur. The timing and motivation for making the allegations (are) crystal clear: they are the direct result of an employee-employer financial dispute that was not resolved to the employee’s satisfaction. Stefon looks forward to establishing the truth in a court of law.”
“The New England Patriots are aware of the accusations that have been made regarding Stefon Diggs,” the team said in a statement. “Stefon has informed the organization that he categorically denies the allegations. We support Stefon. We will continue to gather information and will cooperate fully with the appropriate authorities and the NFL as necessary. Out of respect for all parties involved, and given that this is an ongoing legal matter, we will have no further comment at this time.”
Diggs signed a three-year, $69 million deal with the Patriots in March. He has been a bright spot for the playoff-bound team at wide receiver, catching 82 passes for 970 yards and four touchdowns this season. Diggs previously played for the Houston Texans, Buffalo Bills and Minnesota Vikings. He is a native of Gaithersburg, Md.

I'd love to send Kelce into retirement with a loss..... but I'd also love to have the first pick in every round instead of rotating from the 2nd round onward. Hopefully the Giants beat the Cowboys to remove all potential doubt about the first overall pick before we even play.

1st pick day two gets lots of attention. Teams have hours to reshuffle their boards and get an erection on the best player available. The team with the pick can also trade up in the lower 1st and get that 5th year. Its just a sweet pick to have...chucker wrote: Wed Dec 31, 2025 6:22 am I'd love to send Kelce into retirement with a loss..... but I'd also love to have the first pick in every round instead of rotating from the 2nd round onward. From The Athletic. Can someone confirm if this is correct?
Confirmed using the draft simulator. Open up and click the referenced outcomes of those games then click draft order half way down.

Is it too early to start the 2026 Tankathon thread? I have already worked out what we have to do to clinch the #1 pick.

1. Keep Pete Carroll
2. Keep Geno as QB and just use draft capital to get him more weapons.
