This is good which also mean a Giants win secures the 1st pick regardless of Chiefs. Of course a tie of wins and losses would mean rotating the top pick every round after the 1st so losing to the Chiefs is still better but I'll take the 1st pick any we can get it.

Agreed. I'd love to see us beat Kelce into the ground on his way out. f[raiders_icon]ck himpfish57 wrote: Tue Dec 30, 2025 9:45 am Would be nice if the Giants win, and I could actually pull for a win in the last game...especially since the Sloth isn't going to be out there making me ill![]()

Wait... are you saying that we can pass the Giants in SOS if we win and they lose? They currently have a .011 lead on us.Cruisin with Tooz wrote: Mon Dec 29, 2025 11:14 pm SF plays Saturday and Cin and NO have early sunday games. We can clinch #1 by the time our game starts even if the Giants lose if SF, Cin and NO have all won.
Our win and their loss would reduce that lead by .008, leaving them .003 ahead.
So just like the Jets comparison there would be six games to affect SOS, 3 for each team.
Seems like we would need 4 of those 6 games to break our way.
I don't think we could finish in a tie with Giants. They have Cowboys twice on Schedule and they have a Tie on their record, which makes their SOS bit off.

Giants: 3 Games that can swing their SOS. These are the 3 teams they played that they didn't play entire division.
Saints @ Falcons
Seattle @ San Fran
Miami @ New England
Teams in bold were on Giants schedule, so we want them to win.
Raiders: these are the 3 teams that we didn't play entire divsion.
Detroit @ Chicago
Cleveland @ Cinn
Miami @ New England
Teams in bold were on Raiders schedule, so we want them to lose.
I see now that the Pats are on both our list, so that game is a wash. Only 4 games to swing SOS, so we need 3 out 4 to go our way.

From The Athletic. Can someone confirm if this is correct?

That seems to confirm exactly what Tooz and myself are saying.BoKnows81 wrote: Tue Dec 30, 2025 10:36 am FB_IMG_1767119756660.jpg

...the reality is that it is too early to discuss 'whats cooking' 5 days out, and other potential topics to choose from are limited.
...I think everyone is in agreement that unless the chiefs were game to throw the game just to screw us on the pick, which I just can't see them debasing themselves to that extent, or Andy letting them, it is just a case of milking what is left to milk before the expected outcome Sunday, is behind us.

I still think this game very winnable.
Our guys are losers and will playing hard out of embarrassment/pride.
Chiefs after winning multiple Super Bowls do not have that issue.
They got smoked by Tenn. Somehow they stayed in the game vs Denver, but look at these stats. In no way am I confident they beat us.

If we somehow f[raiders_icon]ck away the number 1 pick on the last week it will be another all time low.

Thanks Dave. That is correct under the draft simulator. I have been playing with this for a while.

Not me. I want first pick in each round. A win means we have to rotate with the other 3 win teams after round 1. f[raiders_icon]ck that.BoKnows81 wrote: Tue Dec 30, 2025 9:32 am If the Giants beat the Cowboys, I hope we beat Kelce into oblivion, literally.
