Yep...... there are way more traits, and I just listed a few. If you're weak in an area then you have to make up for it in other areas...... or you just have to suck, like most people, and just never become a good NFL QB.Viper wrote: Thu Dec 18, 2025 10:48 am Yes, Mendoza or Moore for me.
Heart, attitude and determination also factor into evaluating a player. In high school I wanted to be the next Elway but no matter how much of all that I had I was never going to pan out because those aren’t superpowers either.

chucker wrote: Thu Dec 18, 2025 10:09 am As usual, your numbers are wrong. 5 of the last 6 years, the SB was won by a QB under 6'4". Other winners in the last 20 years include Rodgers, Manning, Wilson. So I'm not sure how that's 20/25. Obviously it isn't. Please never quote another number, and save yourself from getting called a liar again.
My exact quote was, "20 of the last 25 years".
Mahomes has 3, he's 6'2. Russell Wilson has 1, he's 5'10. Rodgers has 1, he's 6'2. That's five.
Peyton Manning is 6'5. Eli Manning is at least 6'4.
Here's a video for proof:
I'm not exactly sure what "Manning" you're talking about. I'm also lost on where exactly I "lied". If there is an error anywhere in my last statements, you haven't done a very good job of pointing them out.
RunOverByHubbard wrote: Thu Dec 18, 2025 10:34 am And you were almost all wrong on the drafting stuff you posted. That’s why I said to check your work.

Perpetrate? I love malapropisms.RunOverByHubbard wrote: Thu Dec 18, 2025 9:28 am It is a fake story -- so let's not perpetrate it. He did sue about his eligibility in college. That is not a fake story.

it is a foolish argument and to say 6'5"=a franchise QB is just a fallacy.

So you limit the scope to shrink the field. Why? Because your argument goes to shit if the field is wider. Mahomes has three, that is not an outlier. Pathetic.mranquales wrote: Thu Dec 18, 2025 10:56 am My exact quote was, "20 of the last 25 years".

I'm still waiting for the check to happen. Naming when those outliers occurred doesn't disprove anything.

Oops, I typed Manning instead of Brees.mranquales wrote: Thu Dec 18, 2025 10:56 am My exact quote was, "20 of the last 25 years".

So what exactly does 20/25 years mean? Mahomes has won 3. Brees, Stafford, Rodgers, Hurts, Wilson. That's 8 - I hadn't bothered to list everyone, but your math just doesn't work. As usual. 5 of the last 6 SBs have been won by "outliers" under 6-3. Maybe 6-4 is now the outlier and it's too tall? I don't really believe that, but 6-4 is not some magic number, either way.
This is the same scouting method that convinces someone that Kelee Ringo is actually an NFL CB.

So you said 20-25 years. In that span there are exactly two guys to win 3 or more Super Bowls as a QBmranquales wrote: Thu Dec 18, 2025 11:11 am3 out of 25 is not an outlier?
Wow. You guys just say anything.
That is not an outlier by any definition. It is you that will say anything, especially when you are cornered.

We should see what Manute Bol is doing these days.
He's 7'7". Therefore he would/would have been the greatest QB ever.
It's just science.

G. Goff and M Stafford are both 6'4". The explains why they don't have multiple Lombardi's. Hah.
Mr. Anquales: You were wrong on the draft stuff about the O-linemen. Look it up.
Maybe saying you "lie" all the time is a bit of an exaggeration but you get a lot of stuff wrong, twist it, abuse facts, etc. to make your points. That is why so many people take you on in this Forum. We need differing viewpoints, but your viewpoint is so often distorted or nonfactual that if appears like you are doing it on purpose to bicker with folks.

Yes, I prefer opinions over cherry picking stats or simply getting facts wrong.RunOverByHubbard wrote: Thu Dec 18, 2025 11:37 am G. Goff and M Stafford are both 6'4". The explains why they don't have multiple Lombardi's. Hah.

A lot of fake stories on Facebook. See them on the Raiders all the time.chucker wrote: Thu Dec 18, 2025 8:03 am That Diego Pavia story sounds completely fake. Not worth posting IMO. Discuss it if you must I suppose, but I don't see the point.
