Fire Chip Kelly
Figured we can talk about the scheme that is wasting Jeanty, regressing Smith and frustrating the hell out of the fanbase. Not to mention Bech being wasted and a load of other issues.

Maybe the Dolphins current HC will be looking for a job next year as an OC. I'd take that dude in a minute. However, when you have a QB that takes 7 games to not throw a pick, it's doubtful even the best OC in the league could do anything good. That's why I'm not on the Fire Chip bandwagon.
Geno always looks sad that he's here and he's looked that way since we signed him. O'Connell's a likable guy, but a shitty QB. Pittsburgh shitcanned Pickett as soon as they could. Hell, the best thing Pickett ever did as a QB was when he helped get Carr fired.
We have no starting QB and one decent backup.
Geno's no threat so teams can stack the line against Jeanty and our shitty O-line. Hell, people should be asking for Pete's son's head before Chip's.
I called it a disaster early last year when we pulled Whatshisface off the Bear's junk pile. I don't get that same feeling with Chip. We have Bowers, Mayer, and Jeanty, and that's pretty much it, and two of those guys are TEs.
What's anyone supposed to do with that shit???

We should and I believe will draft a Qb early next year. After that we need to address the line on both sides with remaining picks. Hell, even get some help there in FA.
Nobody, literally nobody is going to look decent behind our O line. Should start by firing Brennan.
Equally important is the D line. Eagles proved pressure wins games against even the very best QBs in the league.
It’s just so hard to evaluate coaches and players without both sides of the ball set. Dominant players that want to impose their will, they live for it. They crave contact, intimidate opposition, actually want to be here and want to win at all costs.
I say build a team for bully ball. We must be able to run the ball and stop the run. We could literally get rid of 80 percent of our lines. It’s just so hard to evaluate any player or coach until we fix this.

If someone is going to give me a 3rd or higher for a walking concussion, and possibly 1 or two concussions away from having to give up football and for all intents and purposes, is too dumb to figure out line calls (dating back to last year), spare me his college award, if they mattered every Heisman winner and award winner would be successful in the league, then yeah, Im definitely listening. JPJ hasn't proven anything in this league yet he's being fitted for a HoF jacket by this fan baseDr Death wrote: Sat Nov 01, 2025 6:26 am And.... JPJ seems to be on trade block.![]()

I'm not an NFL coach and I don't know what PC thinks or sees that we don't. All I know is this team blows goats and PC is right in the thick of it.... along with putting a gritty, hard nosed player on the trading block. I'd be more apt to accept that if this team was competetive and showed some grit. I guess what I'm saying is that I don't know what the hell to think anymore

I get it and there doesn't really seem to be a direction this team is headed for right now. I mean it's headed towards a shit sandwich but beyond that, where are we going? We're a rudderless organization right nowDr Death wrote: Sat Nov 01, 2025 10:43 am I'm certainly not fitting him for a jacket. IF we were to get a 3rd for him, I'd probably do that. I understand what your saying about the concussion thing.... I'm just so tired of every promising draft pick having some kind of flaw... or clashing with the coaching staff that it seems necassary to move on from them. I love JPJ's attitude; That's what I would hate to lose.

Do we even have anyone that can coach up a rookie QB?Ocoordinator wrote: Sat Nov 01, 2025 5:20 am We should and I believe will draft a Qb early next year. After that we need to address the line on both sides with remaining picks. Hell, even get some help there in FA.

Fair question. If Brady were more hands on I feel he has plenty of knowledge. But it’s one thing to be a good Qb as opposed to being a good coach / mentor. A rookie Qb would need to sit for a bit behind a competent one.
Short answer, probably not.

Early on Chip finally was calling a good offense. Geno under center giving Jeanty opportunities to make good runs. Then he abandoned the run almost all together and back to the gun. f[raiders_icon]cking idiot. It was working and if we had kept it up we would have worn them out.Hellbound wrote: Sat Nov 01, 2025 12:33 pm I get it and there doesn't really seem to be a direction this team is headed for right now. Here's the problem. Bowers is always gonna be the centerpiece of the offense, not Jeanty. Now I absolutely agree that you can not abandon the run but I can't fault him for wanting to get it in his superstar's hands as much as possible. You wont often catch me defending Chip or Pete but the defense and Geno Smith lost that game, not the playcalling. IMO.Attyla wrote: Mon Nov 03, 2025 6:27 am Early on Chip finally was calling a good offense. Geno under center giving Jeanty opportunities to make good runs. How many more years does a Patrick Graham coached Defense need to show piss-poor tackling before the f[raiders_icon]ckstick gets replaced?BoKnows81 wrote: Mon Nov 03, 2025 6:44 am Here's the problem. So many f[raiders_icon]cking times the defender goes for an open-field tackle with an arms-down shoulder-led hit rather than trying to wrap them up.
Year after year after year.

How many times did they have Bowers on the bench on 1st downs.Wouldnt it be best to have your two best playmaker on the field at the same time. The offense is too predictable.Bowers on the bench its a run,Bowers on the field a pass.Fortunately Bowers is a legit superstar. The offense needs to go thru Bowers and Jeanty.Get them the ball and let them do their thing.Chip did better with that but its still not good enoughBoKnows81 wrote: Mon Nov 03, 2025 6:44 am Here's the problem. Well sure, but if they are on the field at the same time, we can't go getting mad if one is not getting utilized. Remember, you want your best blocking TE(s) on the field when Jeanty is running the ball. And that could actually be Bowers but it was his first game back after injury.Mckdaddy wrote: Mon Nov 03, 2025 7:24 am How many times did they have Bowers on the bench on 1st downs.Wouldnt it be best to have your two best playmaker on the field at the same time. The offense is too predictable.Bowers on the bench its a run,Bowers on the field a pass.Fortunately Bowers is a legit superstar. The offense needs to go thru Bowers and Jeanty.Get them the ball and let them do their thing.Chip did better with that but its still not good enough
Ultimately I agree, Bowers right now is the centerpiece of the offense and Jeanty should be right behind him. But 3.2 YPC isn't gonna get it done. Gotta fix the line and get a QB that teams fear to see Jeanty's full potential.

It should have been obvious to anyone that the Jags would go down in the final 1:52 and score. Even more obvious that in OT they'd get a TD.GoodTimeCharlie wrote: Mon Nov 03, 2025 7:12 am How many more years does a Patrick Graham coached Defense need to show piss-poor tackling before the fckstick gets replaced?

Anytime you need the D to make a stop, it never does. Aside from the game in Houston after Al's passing when they picked off Schaug in the endzone, I can't think of a time they stepped up and came through.
Edit: I do remember a game where Crosby had a sack for a safety at the end.
