Simpson won't be coming out this year. NFL as turned super guy shy on drafting QBs with only one year as a starter. Plus he will make a fortune e and get another year of experience so he will be more ready next year.

Sawyer Robertson might be a riser in the draft process he has had an odd game where he has had his struggles but for the most part he has been goodAttyla wrote: Sun Oct 12, 2025 4:08 am Mateer hurt his stock today, probably has to stay another year to redeem himself.
Allar is cooked, he is now a day three guy.
Manning did not help or hurt himself, but he has to stay another year.
Mendoza and Moore are still intriguing but I doubt either come out
The crop of college QBs continues to slide
If we don’t go QB then i’m a trenches guy so for me DT Peter Woods or OL Francis Mauigoa are the two guys i really like as both are maulers

It’s funny how singular games define players so quickly for better or for worse. One week somebody is phenomenal and the next he is a bum. A bum last week can become wanted the following week.

I really hope we get someone like Pavia in the draft. He has a ton of Baker-esque plays and is a baller.
Honestly, you look at our situation. A lot of coaches turn us down for the sole fact we're not a good investment for their career. Why would a young offensive mind waste a year here with Geno? Get a rookie QB like Pavia, and now you're talking about having a QB for the future, a star at RB, and a star at TE.

College players know they have small windows to showcase their skills. Since college is not producing a ton of top notch QBs nor are they being trained how to play at the next level it boils down to athleticism, decision making and to a lesser degree tempo and time management. One bad game can define you and one really good game can elevate you. Doug Flutie comes to mind. The Hail Mary pass took him from a nobody to a career that spanned what, 13 years? And he got paid to be exactly what we expected him to be, pretty much garbage.Xramfan wrote: Sat Oct 18, 2025 9:17 am It’s funny how singular games define players so quickly for better or for worse.
