Fire Patrick Graham

Unread post by RenoRaiders75 »

We have a fire Chip Kelly thread, why not fire PG? Our D sucks. We couldn't even stop them in the second half. Players are getting burnt. He hasn't really devolped anyone, we have zero pressure except for Maxx and he is being trippled teamed. Anyone else ready to move on?

The only good thing I can say about his tenure is at least he hasn’t all of a sudden decided he should move Maxx to Nose Tackle.

Having said that, year-in and year-out his players seem to lack the most basic of tackling fundamentals like WRAP UP THE f[raiders_icon]cking BALL CARRIER.

So yeah, fire the f[raiders_icon]ckstick.

No. Give him a few more NFL caliber players. Starters and Depth. Maxx can't carry this defense on his back.

He is like McDonald's when you have other choices, but it is closer so you go with it. He brings nothing special, but it you could do worse.

For shits’n’giggles…

Arthur Dehon Little, a research chemist in Cambridge, Ma., took up the challenge and announced his success in 1920. Little was a founder of A. D. Little, a technology research and consulting firm that was established in Boston in 1886.

Now I do think the idiom applies just as well to anything Mark Davis and football. Davis being the “sow’s ear” of course.

Some will mistakenly give Davis flowers for our Jerry Jones facilitated move to Vegas, as well as the stadium ol Jerruh brokered for the boy wonder. So far though, the stadium has done more for opposing fans than its done for Raiders football. One might even say its been nothing more than lipstick on a pig.

So yeah, sure. Fire PG, fire Chip, fire Spytek, fire whoever the f[raiders_icon]ck you want, but until we can fire the guy that does the firing, the Raiders won’t ever sniff a Super Bowl again. Or, one could say, the Raiders will be Super Bowl contenders…when pigs fly.

This isn’t Patrick grahams defense

Someone decided chinn was a better slot corner than Hobbs

Someone thought palo mao was a better safety than Moerig

Someone thought blue Kelly, who never started anywhere, was a starter here

Someone thought it would be smart to put our line backers at the line thinking they could get penetration against guards at the line

I’m sorry to say it, but Pete is doing a horrible job right now as a coach. He’s making too many bad personnel decisions

We drafting not one but two bust receivers with early picks. We drafted lineman that they refuse to play. Everything is a mess.

Absolute horseshit. So...who's trash defense was it the last 2 years then?

All I have to say is thank God we didn't throw away first round picks and and extend Hendrickson a few months ago like many on here wanted. Thinking that would fix things. The defense and team has been trash for a long time. A 30 yr old DE wasn't going to fix it

I undertand Graham is working with a short deck, but he much like past DCs, can never seem to come up when you need them to make a stop. It's been ongoing for decades.

Graham gets no pass from me for working with a short deck bc I'm willing to bet my life he had some say in drafting, as well signing in FA, some of these stiffs.

Not the best defensive coach, but he is not working with much. This team just needs to get more talent. When I look around the league and see the number of players that were once Raiders it shocks me.

Yeah I have no real rebuttal with this. Secondary couldn't cover a dog turd with a tarp but all in all Graham is no better than the previous DCs they've had since the early 2000's.

This is Pete carols scheme. If you know ball, you’ll know PG was never heavy on cover 3. He was multiple with a heavy emphasis on man coverage and simulated pressure

We are never in man coverage, that’s your first indicator, if you know ball.

You are consistently loud and wrong.

Way to dodge my question. As usual. I ask you again, who's defense was it the last 2 years when we were also garbage? Was it Pete's draft? Absolutely. But his is 100% Graham's defense with Carroll only contributing to the scheme. Patrick Graham has run Cover 3 in New York.

But I'm loud and wrong lmao. Says the guy that goes out of his way to make excuses for our terrible QB and is now giving our terrible DC a pass. Foh.
