To me, the tackling is the story. We gave up a ton of yards after first contact. EmbarrassingBoKnows81 wrote: Sun Oct 11, 2026 3:02 pm I can't even say for certain that the Pats are a better team than us, at least talent wise and especially with their injuries. What they are though is better coached. By a lot. And they showed that today.
What baffled me today was the piss poor tackling and not getting Mike Washington on the field more often. Wasn't a fan of the playcalling either but Klint has been inconsistent with that the first 4 weeks too.
Won't get any easier next week against Josh Allen. We'll likely be seeing Mendoza soon.

I agree I am just wondering why they don't trust himpfish57 wrote: Sun Oct 11, 2026 3:03 pm Could be but if I have a choice of handing the ball off to Laube or Washington I'm choosing Washington 9 times outta 10.

To think I was upset earlier that I couldn’t catch the game. Just put on the highlights and skipped to Mendoza. He looked pretty good, and… the uniforms looked great.
On to the Bills.
On to the Bills.

....the raiders owe us an apology.....rich72 wrote: Sun Oct 11, 2026 1:25 pm They werent prepared at all for this game, maybe the time change or the weather change from hot to cold. They came out looking flat and never seemed to wake up.
....wait, no they don't..... ...I see New England fairly often from being in bills country, and while they started out terrible this year, and with maye seemingly having been neutered, they got it going last week against the bills, and today, they played their best, and we played our worst, and got our asses handed to us for whichever reason, or reasons.
...the key will now be how we respond, and against the bills, at home,l and with the bills coming off of a Monday nighter, and coming to us.....

That was definitely a belt to ass game. The team needs to be tackling all week. And the line needs to be doing blocking drills all week. And as much as I love his coaching. Kubiak needs to be studying film all week. Ours and the bills. Ours to figure out what's going wrong and theirs to see how to exploit them

I hope the media hit kubiak hard with questions about why washington isn't playing? and don't let up on him if he trys to short answer his way out of the questions.GoodTimeCharlie wrote: Sun Oct 11, 2026 3:56 pm Mike Washington, 1 f[raiders_icon]cking carry? Yeesh.
because its a mystery to all of us why he isn't playing

I can’t find much besides trying to “read between the lines”, but he must have zero trust from the coaches to block or catch.ELCAraiderfan wrote: Sun Oct 11, 2026 4:06 pm I hope the media hit kubiak hard with questions about why washington isn't playing? and don't let up on him if he trys to short answer his way out of the questions.

He's bullshitting. Laube was in the game in the f[raiders_icon]cking first quarter.GoodTimeCharlie wrote: Sun Oct 11, 2026 4:11 pm I can’t find much besides trying to “read between the lines”, but he must have zero trust from the coaches to block or catch.

I don't care if he can't block or catch. What he can do is run the f[raiders_icon]cking ball better than anything the raiders got out there right now. And he couldn't be any worse than jeanty is right now at catching the ball because jeanty can't catch right now either. and having laube in there is a joke. Washington regardless of any reason has to be in the back field and getting a lot of touches with jeanty obviously not close to 100%GoodTimeCharlie wrote: Sun Oct 11, 2026 4:11 pm I can’t find much besides trying to “read between the lines”, but he must have zero trust from the coaches to block or catch.

Coach speak. If you go back and look we didn't abandon the run.
