Pete Carrol told a story about when DJ Metcalf came to his interview at the combine, he came in with his shirt off, so Pete took his shirt off too..

Such a simple jester, hugely connects with his players. Metcalf still has a great relationship with Pete Carrol to this day.

About the end comments concerning Pete Carroll’s draft tendencies… He likes “size and speed” at all positions. Also likes aggressiveness and people who LOVE football. I think he specifically even said he likes big running back who can “hit the home run” and he likes big and fast CBs.
