Lets talk Cars/trucks!

I learned to drive on my buddies farm when I was 12 years old. His father was police Chief and would get old confiscated cars for the farm. Learned how to use a 3 speed on the column. Drove on dirt roads through the woods. Made drivers Ed really easy....
When I was 16 I worked in a auto salvage yard and bought a burned out 1968 Ford Falcon. Removed the interior and replace it with parts from another wreck. It was a 3 speed on the column which I converted to a 3 speed on the floor. Stupid kid lol.
I eventually traded in a couple of years later for a 1969 Camaro convertible. Blue with a white top.
Should of never traded it in but did...
A brand new 1974 Nova SS I ordered from a car dealer I was working at. ($3900) 350, 4 barrel, duel exhaust, Posi rear, nice when new. Turned into a rust bucket and mechanical nightmare in a few years. Eventually sold it for a song and a dance to an old friend.
Owned a few transport vehicles for a few year to get me and the wife to work. 66 Impala, 64 Chevy II during the lean years.
Bought a 85 full sized Bronco and use it on the beach all the time and was another fun truck since the kids were showing up at this juncture.
Bought a new 1990 Hyundai 5 speed and taught the wife to shift. Gray hair started...
Bought a used Jeep Cherokee that was a work house for a few years
Owned a couple of Ford Taurus's that always seemed to overheat.
Bought my wife a new Jeep Wrangler in 2008...my younger son totaled it a few years later.
Bought my neighbors 2004 Lexus ES 350 with 160k and it ran great. Super nice car.
Bought a Chrysler Crossfire and still have it over 20 years later and looks great. Super fun car. Looking to finally sell it.
Bought a new 2023 Tacoma which is a long time keeper.
And finally was looking at corvettes but thought I look silly in one so ended up getting an IS500 Lexus, which satisfies the sport car bug.
So only owned a few new vehicles over the years. Was generally a buy and hold guy.
Now that I'm retired with more disposable income having fun buying cars.
So what was your car journey?
