The Raiders official YouTube channel posted that they completed their second interview with Klint Kubiak. Upon seeing this, I checked their channel to see if they had posted anything else like this for any other coach in the current search, and they hadn’t. Hopefully this is some type of hint. I think this guy is legit, but he did get the job title wrong.chucker wrote: Sat Jan 31, 2026 7:41 pm Please don't post anything that claims to have news unless it's a known reputable source.

Yes. That’s definitely his face in the helmet and the eye patch. Our complex has two pools, but my wife and I have been in neither.
Fun fact: The average public swimming pool contains 20 gallons of human urine.

The Cardinals are in the same position we'd be in without the top pick: Someone will take the job because NFL Head Coach is the top title in this profession and there's only 32 of these jobs in the entire world. But it'll be someone who nobody else wanted in 2026 as their HC. Now it could still work out for the Cards. No doubt whoever takes the job will be bright, have a clear vision and be raring to go. Maybe he succeeds. Stranger things have happened, but the odds won't be good.Marzan wrote: Sat Jan 31, 2026 11:34 pm No news is good news in this case. If the Cardinal’s start interviewing for more candidates and hire someone then that means Kubiak is almost in the bag

If it is Kubiak then i’m hoping he can at least bring Benton & Janocko
John Benton is exactly what we need, the guy coach good O-Lines & does good work in the run game wherever he goes.
Kubiak has had Janocko as his QB coach in his last three stops as OC so breed familiarity with what he wants to do & has gotten some solid results

As of now; there two teams going for Kubiak….
You got the Raiders who are notorious bad at firing Head Coaches; a losing season and your head is on the chopping block….think the Raiders are the only team that will fire a 1st year head coach after having a bad season; New England did it once also but I can’t think of another team that done that….so let just say Kubiak goes 1-16 in 2026, there a pretty good chance Kubiak will be here in 2027 but if the raiders start out badly; he probably get fired….
Now you got the Cardinals; you will get three years to build your team….
It a bit scary; but it would not surprise me if Kubiak chose the cardinals as the team he want to coach…

The other side of the coin: The Cardinals have Murray at QB, no plan to upgrade, and a notoriously cheap ownership.SuperRaider wrote: Sun Feb 01, 2026 2:00 am As of now; there two teams going for Kubiak….

Mark will spend whatever it takes and you get to coach up Mendoza.

Staying in Seattle and waiting another year for a better opportunity is quite the leverage for Kubiak. Every season head coaches get fired like clockwork.Attyla wrote: Sat Jan 31, 2026 4:35 pm I disagree that Kubiak has all the leverage. We can make his only options of Seattle or Arizona. We can revive the Webb deal or go onto another option.
This needs to be a cooperative effort whereby each side needs the other
But why wait to get your own gig? He’s coming here.

Guessing it doesn’t take much time telling someone they’re not interestedBotesBoats wrote: Sat Jan 31, 2026 8:18 pm That's interesting. Its late, and he's going to sit down with the Cardinals after spending all day with us? For what.. an hour or two with them? Just doesn't feel like he's going to give them much of his time. Wonder what he's going to talk to them about in such a short time

Yeah, between the Raiders offering him the HC position, a load of money with no income tax, having the cap space, having Mendoza, Maxx, Jeanty, and Bowers, having great facilities, etc., Kubiak should not assume that a better situation/offer will be there for the taking in 2027.
The time is now.
