New coach ………. Again
What’s your thoughts? I prefer young offensive minded with a fresh DC. Kubiak, Cooter, Kafka and pair them with someone like Al Harris as the DC.

In Western New York the counts for something.BoKnows81 wrote: Sun Jan 04, 2026 12:33 pm Same thing with Joe Brady. All he does is warm Josh Allens nuts when he comes over to the sideline.

Kubiak's offense + Mendoza + replace a few O-line... this offense will be a f[raiders_icon]cking beast!
Also grab a few new WRs in free agency (Mike Evans? Keenan Allen? Jauan Jennings?) and draft one or two more

Agree with you absolutely on the bolded, but obviously it’s a strong disagree on Doofus. I think he began with the right process when he took over the team, mainly recognizing he didn’t know shit about running a football team, so he asked for help. You can’t do better than lending your ear to Madden’s advice. (Or couldn’t. Rest in peace Legend.)tatalalicious wrote: Sun Jan 04, 2026 5:20 am I know this is an unpopular opinion but to me MD has done a far better job managing the Raiders than I suspected he would have when taking over after ADs passing given the poor state the franchise was in financially/front office wise. The Raiders need to let Spytek have full control over the coaching/draft decisions this offseason if they want to continue their attempt to more modernize their organization.
Unfortunately he always had that hard-on for Gruden, and once Doofus started influencing the teams football decisions with what he wanted, rather then what the Raiders needed, it’s been a steady path down to the pits of Hell.
As of this post it looks like we’ve got Mendoza (as long as he declares), and I’d be lower-case surprised if we beat the Queefs today, but Doofus ever doing the right thing by stepping aside and letting intelligent football men run this organization will require me seeing it to believe it. Until then this once proud franchise will remain an embarrassment.

Lmao! Amen……….SuperRaider wrote: Sun Jan 04, 2026 2:37 am Well I think it was GM that screwed a lot of things for Stefanski….but he a guy that go to another team and turn things around; not sure he would want to come to the raiders as their too many issues wrong with this team….I mean the raiders have an owner; that is really the team GM; we got a GM; but he has to pass everything past Davis/Brady to get the OK to do that; then we got HC that has to report to Three GM…just crazy…
Just give Spytek the keys to the team and see what he can do with this team….

Listening to an athletic podcast on head coaching candidates.
They’re really hoping up Vance Joseph…. I really hope he gets a job to hurt the Donkeys but… not sure about him here. But… if we could have a top 5 defence every year and build an offence around the run game etc… would work really well…

I heavily disagree on this, we don’t NEED an offensive guy what we need is a good coach who develop players no matter what side of the ball he coachesJeevo wrote: Sun Jan 04, 2026 7:30 pm No HC from the D side of the ball. We have to have an O guy who, if he works out, will be with our shiny new QB for a number of years.
Just go out & get an innovative young HC with an young innovative OC or DC on the other side of the ball

I don’t know, but if you get the D guy and everything looks good with the young QB you can lose the OC in a heartbeat.DanKD wrote: Sun Jan 04, 2026 7:37 pm The issue is how many good o guys are out there? Kubiak but who else?

Kubiak, LaFleur, or some other offensive wizard (preferably one who also has the stones to lead a team effectively.)
The Seahawks game last night looked like the perfect offense for Mendoza, Jeanty, and Bowers... given that we build a good line with that $100 million.
