If the foremost orthopedic surgeon in the world says things are fine. I will believe him over some random dude on a message board.

I was typing this very thing in my head when I saw your postALLRAIDERWORLD21 wrote: Wed Mar 11, 2026 11:03 am Also, depending on how the season goes, a team who maybe loses their edge rusher to injury but still in playoff contention may get desperate and send two high picks to Raiders at the trade deadline for Maxx. It also depends on how Raider are doing, I'm not trading him if we're competing for a playoff spot.

You mean Dr Cooper, the Dallas Cowboys team physician- the same team that was in the running for Crosby up until the very end? He certainly doesn't have any conflict of interest there and we all know doctors are certainly scrupulous and beyond reproach.Cruisin with Tooz wrote: Wed Mar 11, 2026 4:55 pm Im wondering if there is something legit on those scans that is concerning for the longer term. Dr Cooper isnt going to risk his reputation by shading his evaluation for the Raven's benefit.

The Raven’s doctor is not risking his reputation. He’s not making any statements that Maxx won’t be able to play. Failing a physical is completely subjective and it’s a determination made by the team. The doctor can simply say “yep, he’s not 100% healthy as of this moment” and the team can either act on that or disregard it. The decision isn’t on the doctor.Cruisin with Tooz wrote: Wed Mar 11, 2026 4:55 pm Im wondering if there is something legit on those scans that is concerning for the longer term. There's not going to be an official NFL penalty unless you can prove that they negotiated a trade with no intention of finalizing it and it was just a strategy to help them negotiate with Hendrickson or something like that.Raider_Dave wrote: Wed Mar 11, 2026 12:18 pm Maybe no rules were broken, but it's clear as can be the Ravens negotiated in bad faith and there should be some type of penalty for that.
But there can be unofficial penalties..... something like NHL teams dealing with cheap shots themselves instead of just hoping the refs do it. It's about other teams dealing with the Ravens differently than with the league at large. That doesn't mean teams won't do deals with them, but it will be with a lot more caution and if different teams have comparable offers, then the Ravens might be the one on the outside looking in.
It does sound like the league's GMs are pretty pissed off right now. f[raiders_icon]ck the Ravens.

Now watching NFL Network help the ravens with decosta's bullshit excuse is even more f[raiders_icon]cked up. Hearing those idiot talking heads say, "yeah he decosta looked and sounded very hurt and upset about the maxx crosby trade waaa" pure f[raiders_icon]cking bullshit spin. They're also saying that the ravens wanted to get both Maxx and Henderson. How the f[raiders_icon]ck were the ravens going to pull that off?

The NFL isn't a covered entity by Hippa.

Acquired CB Taron Johnson and a 2026 seventh-round draft pick (228th overall) via a trade with the Buffalo Bills in exchange for a sixth-round draft pick (182nd overall); Acquired a 2026 sixth-round draft pick (208th overall) via a trade with the New York Jets in exchange for QB Geno Smith and a 2026 seventh-round draft pick (228th overall); Re-signed DE Malcolm Koonce; Signed K Matt Gay.

Re-signed CB Eric Stokes.
This is all I see on the Raiders transactions site. Are we sure we have Tyler Linderbaum and the rest still signing here?

All the transactions listed are transactions that could have had physicals performed prior to 4 ET today - because they are trades where the trading team could grant permission or street free agents (Gay), or they were under contract with the Raiders before the new league year opened. The rules are different for UFAs and so it's a bit slower. Stokes could also have been announced.ELCAraiderfan wrote: Wed Mar 11, 2026 5:41 pm 03/11

I think it's pretty obvious they were negotiating a contract with Hendrickson and made sure that was a done deal before killing the Crosby trade.chucker wrote: Wed Mar 11, 2026 5:26 pm There's not going to be an official NFL penalty unless you can prove that they negotiated a trade with no intention of finalizing it and it was just a strategy to help them negotiate with Hendrickson or something like that.

That seems crooked as can be even if not technically illegal.
