Goodtimes333 wrote: Wed Jan 21, 2026 9:20 am There's been a lot of great posts. Great discussion. This is a great point that seems to be overlooked! Pete had his son Beavis making this Oline look worse than they are. Kolton is a very good left tackle, he gets rolled up on and misses most of the season. I may be crazy but I believe JPJ will be a hell of a player at one of the interior spots. Between Glaze, Rogers & Grant one other spot is likely in decent hands. Even if Glaze/Grant take a guard spot. I've never in my life heard of offensive players having to meetup after practice to discuss amongst themselves what to do because the staff is so incompetent. IMO, this line is not as bad off as it's been portrayed the last 5 months. Scheme & implementation is so fcking vital
The Raiders haven't developed a offensive lineman in years and there's no time to do that now.
We have our QB and we need to immediately insert 2 proven vet starters through fa. The other 2 spots you can develop except i want a 2nd round lineman to develop and help fill out the talent level.
Let whoever's left fight it out for the final spot.

chucker wrote: Thu Jan 22, 2026 10:39 am Yep. Russell was not the consensus #1 pick, he was the consensus as the most physically talented QB in the draft. Plenty of people thought taking him would be a mistake.
Kiffin didn't want him. Matt Millen tells a story where Detroit brought him in predraft and the visit was a disaster, Millen said he called Al and told him not to draft this guy, but Al in his paranoia thought Detroit was trying to jump the Raiders and draft him and the rest is history. I don't know how any team after talking to the guy and realizing that he couldn't even form a sentence thought he could be a successful NFL QB

Imagine that jacket with the Raiders shield blind embroidered on the back in the same charcoal grey color. Ghosted on...

This dude is so dialed in. Kudos to his parents. What a great kid. He’s gonna have every opportunity in the world once he’s hung up his cleats in hopefully 20 somethin’ years or more. I’d say I’m shocked the Raiders have this opportunity, but then it ain’t like we ain’t paid some steep dues in the misery department.

I haven’t had a jersey since “Moss”, before that “Plunkett”, and before that “Stabler”. That “Moss”, a coupl’a beer cozies, and a beanie were the last things “Raiders” I’ve spent any money on. 20+ years ago.

I’m gonna own a “Mendoza”. :pirateflag:

The intro was obviously scripted and it is good that he is a football player because his acting chops.....yikes
