Hire Brian Daboll as OC now that he's been Fired ?
Should we shlt can Chip Kelly and Hire Brian Daboll as OC before hes scooped up by another team ?
Is he a good fit with Pete Carroll and does his scheme match our offesive strengths in TE and our RB.
Does pete have any connection or ties with Daboll ?
Thoughts !

My current guess is Pete Carroll is not fired before next season but that he is also not our head coach next season.

Had a few bad games for sure. Such as the Chiefs game and the team looked lost.rich72 wrote: Mon Nov 10, 2025 5:44 pm Pete seems to think overall everything looks great with a few minor changes needed.
They've had some close calls with the Jags, Bears, and Broncos.
Bottom line is this team needs better players to fit Pete's and Kelly's system.
Daboll isn't going to add much if anything.

Sounds like Carroll will be back but Kelly won't. I would rather hire McDaniel when he becomes available but Daboll is worth an interview at the very least. A lot of great coordinators just aren't head coach material.

I don't know. I think Daboll owes his entire earnigs to Josh Allen. I'll give you he had the one year where the Giants went to the playoffs out of the blue (no pun intended), but it's been pretty bad afte that.heavyD wrote: Tue Nov 11, 2025 12:00 pm Sounds like Carroll will be back but Kelly won't. Formation for short yardage is in the gun. QB sneak on 3rd and 2. Keep running Jordan Meredith at C, even though he's getting pancaked on every play. Chip's system sucks, if it was dependent on Bowers being healthy great, but after the Donkey game, he needs to go. Not using your bread and butter is asinine.

Tough to know. There are guys who are very good coordinators but suck as head coaches. Hed probably be better than Chip the Bed in the NFL KellyDeathStar24 wrote: Tue Nov 11, 2025 12:09 pm I don't know. I think Daboll owes his entire earnigs to Josh Allen. Daboll was terrible with the Bills. Allen made that guys name. The offense started playing better when daboll left.

Not that I think he is the solution but he get's results. Honestly, I think Jeanty would thrive in his offense though his propensity for horizontal passing tends to condense the field.
I rate him higher than Chip Kelly, a lot higher.
I'll keep banging the Lane Kiffin drum though.
