I'm a huge GFR fan. I can't tell you how disappointed I was with this album when it came out. I was in 8th grade...lol. Other than the title track, I hated it! I've softened on it a bit but, to me, that was when GFR turned into a pussy band.

Same here...I wore out the Closer to Home album...Survival was a fav too.

Yeah, it can be heartbreaking. I witnessed what it did to my Mother in law and what it did to her Daughter who is my wife.

Before she passed, the 3 of us were sitting at the table and I asked her what was the name of her youngest Daughter and she quickly replied "Annie". I then pointed to Annie who was sitting next to me and asked her Mom "Do you know who this is?" Her Mom looked at Annie and shook her head No.

But a really odd thing is that though she had full blown Alzheimer's, when asked to do it, she could still rattle off the ABC's BACKWARDS in 5 seconds...I shit you not.
