LayneStaley wrote: Tue Sep 23, 2025 1:46 pm Their line looks night and day because the two young tackles had another year of experience, the center is a new starter, and their first round pick this year is playing guard who happened to also play with the center at NDSU so there is some familiarity on the interior.

Zabel(G) and Sundell(C) were actually roommates at NDSU and played 2 seasons together. I’m sure that helps.
Seattle threw their young lions into the mix the last few years & it looks like it has paid of for them

Miller is the only lock but we need to keep Glaze where he is at RT simply because we have no other RT ( Grant is a LT)

JPJ at C & Rogers at LG would help both are great run blocker, then let the other battle it out at RG or trade for a vet that can start until we can find a proper RG

If there ever was a time to throw guys in there & see what shit sticks it is right now. Can only help the QB

The Real CK wrote: Tue Sep 23, 2025 1:33 pm Seattle's O-Line looks night and day different without Geno holding the ball and running into sacks.

Geno is part of the problem. Solely blaming the O-Line is an excuse.
Oh so how do we explain the running backs abysmal output? The numerous plays of ooops I completely did nothing this play by the lineman?

Geno isn't holding on too long, if anything we aren't calling quicker routes.

Wow people arguing like this isn't oline related, wow.

I think 3 years is a fair time for turnabout not 3 games, if we’re still here in 3 years talk away

Anyone arguing anything other than OL has lost the plot & is just doing it because they hated the Geno trade or even Jeanty draft pick

Until we get the OL sorted you can’t really evaluate anyone

The people that hate the Geno trade, hate it for valid reasons. Nobody is denying how bad the line is. And again, Geno has PLENTY of tape to evaluate.

Good catch, it was certainly head scratching when they parted ways with him

Would that not invalidate Darnold stats as well then since he got a ton of garbage stats against the Saints & couldn’t beat the Steelers without the worst football IQ play in recent memory

The Real CK wrote: Tue Sep 23, 2025 6:12 am Geno had one fluke year and since then hasn't been better than average.

A 21-15 TD-INT ratio is telling. For some reason, this franchise can't figure out that if a QB-hungry league drops a guy; buyer beware.
I kept pointing out to ppl he had 71 TD in three seasons, with 41 in two of them combined. Yet ppl turned a blinded eye to what I said. Plus, he didn’t exactly have scrubs to throw to in Seattle, either. He threw for plenty of yards, but struggled throwing TD’s. He’s the guy we wanted rid of for years.
