I like that the price of 2 first round picks and a player is out there because it demonstrates that the Raiders are only willing to move on if they get a strong return. But it's not a very specific value. For example if the Pats offer 2 firsts and Stephon Diggs. 2 late firsts and a 32 year old WR with a hefty cap charge of his own and a looming personal conduct issue is probably worth less than something like the #10 pick alone in 2026.

I don't think anyone hates Maxx. I don't. But I don't sweat his nuts like some on here do. The NFL is a business. That business is here for my entertainment. Players feelings don't matter to me and I have no feelings towards players. I'll always say he was wrong for requesting a trade if we didn't hire AP. But I couldn't care less about any of the other shit.
That being said, I am a fan of the Raiders. And in my opinion, the best move for the TEAM that is rebuilding, is to trade an aging, non quarterback, a year early while you can still get a decent return, instead of a year too late. I hate to relate it to this but if any of you play dynasty fantasy football, that's exactly what a good manager does.
Not to mention, and some may disagree, Maxx is not a superstar. He's a great player but the reality is, he's not elite at every aspect of his game like some others at his position. I believe he can be replaced with multiple younger players during FA and the draft that will give us equal or better production at 2 spots instead of 1. We're obviously starting fresh with switching to a 3-4, which isn't even an ideal fit for the guy.
Mendoza will be the face of the franchise starting this year. Not Maxx. Trade him for the better of the team AND for the people that have personal feelings for him, for his sake.

I also remember him. Only posted during this time of year. Always talked like he was connected to the team in some way. Never much truth in his speculationRabidraider wrote: Thu Feb 26, 2026 6:24 am I remember him, it was a weird handle. He always said in Al we trust, in Reggie we trust etc. Damn, can't remember his name.

I think it was me. I suggested that level of compensation (two firsts and a starting player) for trading him by the trade deadline last year. Should I have suggested more?

Some online hack is running with it. I love it when they use "an unnamed source" so that they can just make shit up. Oh wait, it is Florio so it is legitRunOverByHubbard wrote: Thu Feb 26, 2026 7:28 am I think it was me. He said this: "I want to be a Raider," Crosby said. "But if we go in a different direction, there is nothing that is off the table."

In regard to resting Maxx and other players the last two games. If I'm management and my team is out of the playoffs and the remaining games have no effect on any other teams playoff runs, then I would sit most of my star players to prevent injury and wear and tear. And at the same time see what the rookies and backups can offer going into the next season.
Players bitch about the extra games, then why bitch when the team in trying to protect them as well as possibly help draft position.
We still beat a depleted KC anyway.

Found your X post from PFT and it appears they got that from NBC sports. That is what Florio reported on NBC sport so they are taking that info from him.SuperRaider wrote: Thu Feb 26, 2026 8:58 am Pro football talk had something about the raiders will trade Max for two first rounders and a player

The problem is Bob completely shut down the website so there no way anybody can go back and check things out….every off season this guy would come back to the forum and type like thousand letter essay on how great the raiders are going to be and then as soon as the season start he disappear …then start all over again once off-season start….forgot his name; probably was Jon Gruden in real lifeRabidraider wrote: Thu Feb 26, 2026 6:24 am I remember him, it was a weird handle.
