NFL Trade Deadline
Ok maybe this doesn’t need its own thread but the deadline is 5 weeks away. I know the next couple weeks will determine if we are buyers but let’s say we get to 5-2 do we make a move?
I really wish we still had Jakobi here but it sounds like a few guys might be available…
Brian Thomas Jr
Marvin Harrison Jr
Jerry Jeudy
Thoughts?

If anything close to the offer Bal made is in the offing, the Raiders would be a fool not to jump on it.

You lost me at "beat the niners" and then when I recovered from laughing you lost me again with "playoffs in the conversation"....RunOverByHubbard wrote: Mon Nov 02, 2026 11:07 pm If we happen to beat the 49ers Sunday, I think it is possible we become buyers not sellers the following Tuesday as the playoffs will be in the conversation.
Stop, my stomach is hurting from laughing so hard.

Yeah, upsets never happen. That Cardinals at 12.5 dogs never stood a shot against the Rams. Ridiculous.Xramfan wrote: Tue Nov 03, 2026 11:22 am You lost me at "beat the niners" and then when I recovered from laughing you lost me again with "playoffs in the conversation"....

A team like the Falcons who can't even beat a team that doesn't complete a pass would have no shot against the 49ers. Right? Right?

Eric Stokes for a 2029 7th rounder would be fair market value

We need responses like this not to jinx those of us who actually think we can beat the Niners on a good day. That and the fact that I know you'll be as happy as anyone in here if we do.Xramfan wrote: Tue Nov 03, 2026 11:22 am You lost me at "beat the niners" and then when I recovered from laughing you lost me again with "playoffs in the conversation"....

You ever bought and overpaid on impulse..I personally don't want to trade Maxx but if some team thinks he the missing piece to a Lombardi and are willing to offer a PREMIUM, like a 1st and 2nd and even a player to get him.RI RAIDER wrote: Tue Nov 03, 2026 5:13 am I think it is lip service that Maxx is not available in order to build up the price (which is obviously lower than last season). I think the trade of Simmons (Bruckner and Nelson as well) will make contending teams want to make a trade in order to keep up (come on Jerry). However, Maxx will not fetch anything close to what Simmons got. Comparing the 2 is like comparing Sydney Sweeney to Rosie O'Donnell. This is not to slight Maxx. Simmons is arguably the biggest disruptor in the NFL and he plays a position that is tough to fill and there are not many dominant players at the position. It was also the perfect storm. The Bears are going for the Super Bowl and DT was a HUGE need for them.
The problem is what message does that give to the team. I think alot will ride on what happens in SF this weekend. Also, the season ending injury the Kenyon Crawford didn't help because he would have been an heir apparent (for now) to fill the whole had Maxx been traded. Crawford may have also made a difference with Maxx.

Take it easy haji, it’s levity. You will also find in another thread where I stated I have seen the Niners look unbeatable and I have seen the Niners look very pedestrian and very beatable. On any Sunday. Quit taking yourself so seriouslyhaji81872 wrote: Tue Nov 03, 2026 12:56 pm Yeah, upsets never happen. That Cardinals at 12.5 dogs never stood a shot against the Rams. Ridiculous.
