Raiders Visit NJ to Take On the Jets - Game Day Thread
Weather is supposed to be pleasant, with the temperature at 62 degrees with lots of sun.
Spread is Raiders -1.5 and the over/under is 45.5
On tap today, it is really finally chili weather with crusty bread and I will be making a dirty chai martini batch for the wife and I to enjoy
Enjoy the games on tap today fellas

Except my point from the very beginning has been that Californians hold In and Out on a pedestalraider_kin wrote: Mon Nov 02, 2026 8:42 am It is exactly the point. You mentioned frequency, not me.

Not a pedestal but just saying it’s better than the typical “fast food” chains like McDs and BK and Jack in the box etc.Willmark wrote: Mon Nov 02, 2026 8:52 am Except my point from the very beginning has been that Californians hold In and Out on a pedestal
Another that I haven’t seen in Ca but I enjoy on the road Is Freddy’s Steakburgers and Custard in Idaho and Montana. They have pretty good double smashburgers served with those thin shoestring fries and their shakes and custards are pretty good.
Also their employees always seem happy, clean cut and courteous which I appreciate. Ca fast food chains are mostly sloppy angry folks (except once again, In and Out and Chik-fil-le)

We have some Freddy's locations in CA. The frozen custard is unbelievable. The jalapeno burger is tasty, they use those old school potato bunsXramfan wrote: Mon Nov 02, 2026 10:22 am Not a pedestal but just saying it’s better than the typical “fast food” chains like McDs and BK and Jack in the box etc.

Attyla, can you change the title of this thread to "The Great Burger Debate"?
maybe "The Good Burger Debate" would be better

The fact that we're discussing burgers in the post game thread is an indication that the fanbase is healing and the franchise is going in the right direction.
Can you imagine a "view from the enemy" thread where your opponent is just talking about delicious food?

Which is sorta my point.Opoponax50 wrote: Sun Nov 01, 2026 8:08 pm California doesn't need nor even think about taking any other state into account when it comes to food. Who gives a crap about Corn Burger in Nebraska or whatever is supposed to be good there?

Meh, I have friends that think they are wise when doing large patties that are an inch thick and fit on a deli sandwich roll. Screw that, if you want meat loaf then have meatloaf. Regular 1/2lb patties are just fine or dual smash burgers are great.FLORIDARAYDAH wrote: Mon Nov 02, 2026 11:20 am Yeah give me a big fat burger every time. Sometimes a juicy patty works and sometimes a patty with a crispy edge works. I’m glad we agree that turkey burgers are for pussies though ;)FLORIDARAYDAH wrote: Mon Nov 02, 2026 3:47 pm Im talking a half pound burger. Cooked on a grill. With all the tóppings. Smash burgers are a fad for children
