I bet a lot of that Herbert love was born out of hate for that one guy. Kind of like if you had an egg salad sandwich that had been sittin’ in the Sun for 3 days and you looked up and saw someone noshin on a freshly made pastrami.

With Jackson out for the year and sitting in a tough division, those two first round picks we were going to get for Maxx look better and better. The trade deadline is a week away (Tuesday the 10th). Heck, if we happy to beat the 49ers Sunday, we could be buyers trying to make a playoff run. Unlikely but who knows.

We could trade Maxx and reacquire Tyree Wilson from the Saints for almost nothing as he is wasting away on the bench. Bookend him with the little guy, Koonce, and Super Bowl here we come.
