RunOverByHubbard wrote: Thu Oct 29, 2026 8:30 am The Titans seem to be one of the worst run teams in football. Right up there with the LV Raiders - but that team is making progress. Last full season (2025) the Titans were dead last in attendance (as measured by percent of capacity) and their stadium is small.
Hot and humid in the summer months and a lot of construction in and around the stadium. They cut the parking by around 2/3rds which did not help. Having a shit product on the field as well.

And frankly, the Cam Ward experiment has been a disaster. They have mishandled pretty much every aspect you can. Amy Adams is pretty universally despised as well. But new Shoe Box they are building is pretty from the outside and has been sold out for next season. I know a number of STH and they are paying for their tickets as you would expect. Keep a few for yourself and sell the games that will recoup your investment. And Nashville is a destination city in the vein of New Orleans. You can have a serious blast downtown and do it pretty budget friendly. We were down there last week and had a very nice dinner for under 60 bucks with drinks included. I think tip and tax pushed it over 80 bucks but even that I consider pretty reasonable.

Releasing J. Laulu and keeping Thornton was a big mistake.

Thornton couldn't catch a cold. Bech is the better receiver.

Where did I say pro bowl? Oh yeah, didn't.
Just pointing out that 5 teams, some good ones, put in waiver claims for him.

We had too many undersized penetrating DTs. Laulu isn't terrible but isn't a game-changer. There were obviously teams that needed a bit mor of that style of DT than we did. We need one more true NT and didn't need as much of Laulu's skillset. He basically was best suited for the same role as Hemingway, Butler, Booker and Pegues.

Meanwhile we added Thornton to the roster, not because he's awesome (he's marginal at best based on his performance) but because we're so weak at the WR position that a warm body is needed.

More roster moves will be on the way, as they'll certainly add Bech to the roster in the next couple of weeks, possibly today.

I wasnt quoting you but I find it amusing everytime we release a player that gets picked up, the presumption is we screwed up. Every once in awhile its true but usually they arent a fit for us or plain garbage or mediocre at best.
