On to the Jets

Unread post by Be_Easy_25 »

Please travel to the east coast early enough to adjust to the time zone.

There’s finally a winnable game on the schedule.
Please don’t trick it off for nothing.

Somewhat ironically and tongue in cheek

Sorta like this forum. If you wade through all the crap there is occasionally a nugget here or there’s

And for the pedantic amongst us, yes it is not an exact fit for the metaphor.

Wouldn’t stacking the box make having two speedsters on the outside more advantageous? Help me here mranquales.
Correct. If they stack the box, They don't have enough horses to clamp Thorton , Tre and Brock. Right now they just put their best db on Brock and call it a day. With Thorton they have to put a safety or Nick on Brock. When Thorton was out there, defenses had to play us soft because we had too much speed. Right now we have a bunch of possession wrs.

They could put a third string CB on him and that would be sufficient. 300+ snaps, 10 catches. And Geno still has an arm, unlike Cousins

Nice, that's awesome.

We keep trying for permanent daylight savings, but it never fully goes through.

halfway there, waiting on the Senate to take it up. Reports are if that goes through, the white house signs it into law. Not to get political

I really hope we don’t shit the bed. Taking my wife, 2 sons and their girlfriends, also have a nephew his wife and 2 daughters meeting us there to tailgate with other friends also. This is my wife and one sons first Raider game and I would really like to go home with a win.

Be_Easy_25 wrote: Tue Oct 27, 2026 12:13 pm Anybody know when the Raiders are traveling to Jersey?
Likely departing on Friday. Being a cross-country flight from the Pacific Time Zone to the Eastern Time Zone for an early 1:00 PM kickoff NFL teams traditionally travel two days in advance. Leaving on Friday afternoon allows the team to adjust to the 3-hour time jump and get two full nights of sleep in New York before game day. They can then conduct their Saturday walkthrough locally on the East Coast to stay on a normal routine...

Thanks, my oldest son and I have been to a few together including a trip to Vegas a few years ago during Gruden 2.0. I regret never getting to the Coliseum when I was younger.

Experimenting and mixing it up to hopefully find the right combo while Cousins is still in there is a solid plan. Hopefully it's stable for Mendoza.

Not a great sign 7 games into the season as ideally you want your line to be gelling by now. Mixing things up this at this point is a bit desperate to me but we are truly in year 1 of a rebuild so you gotta do what you gotta do. I guess this year is the ultimate tryout for who is staying next year and who is not. I’m not even thinking about a post season run, just live tryouts at this point
