Game Day Thread: Raiders try to rebound vs. the sinking Rams
Will Stafford regain his footing or will the Raiders bring enough heat on him to cause the Rams to fall further behind in the NFC West? It’s a good test for the Raiders to see if we can take it to a team more injured than we are.
I think we will and we will get close to 100 rushing yards. Raiders 27, Rams 23.

The only problem I have ever had with you is you use to just dog cuss this team every week...which I understand completely then you started berating other posters for doing the same thing...which I called you out on, and you took exception, but I will give you credit you have a way with words & have really Great post which most I like, and your use of the word "Bereft" put you back in my good graces not that you care, but your average moron on any forum doesn't have a clue what that means, but I do so let this be a peace offering GTC...nice choice of words!!!GoodTimeCharlie wrote: Sun Oct 25, 2026 4:56 pm Yeah, I like Coach K. Cousins is having his best year in a while, Darnold is back to shitty Darnold, and he got us 3 wins (so far) as a rookie HC with a franchise bereft of talent that’s been bottom-of-the-barrell for a decade.
Tucker is an excellent #2 or #3, just a shame he’s so short. Jeanty ain’t worth that #6, but I’m not 100% certain he’s a complete dud. Not with us being completely f[raiders_icon]cked at Guard.

Kubiak left 8 points on the board. Some of his decisions are questionable. Benching Thorton when Young, Benson, and Nailor have done nothing.

All the kids should be playing (especially Mendoza). We are wasting valuable developmental time. Why isn't Zuhn playing over Burford (who will not be a Raider next season). It was great that we started 3-0 (but also a problem as well). I think most knew this was a throw away season. I just hope Davis stays out of the kitchen and lets Spy and KK take care of business (we have a couple of good ones there).

i agree play fernando, trade off kirk for a high pick that can fill a hole on the team like guard or dtmranquales wrote: Sun Oct 25, 2026 5:05 pm My expectations are now fully tempered with the ceiling of the team this year. I. believe at this point Mendoza should play. No point in wasting development in our franchise qb for a 6 win team

You have to consider the source when talking about Thornton. He is blaming Kubiak for the lack of playing time and that is not the truth. Thornton was injured and was placed on IR. That meant the team medical staff determined he could not play, not the coach. Sometimes teams use the IR designation to stash a player but not in this case. He is not good enough to stash. He was legitimately not able to play.Oaktownonly wrote: Mon Oct 26, 2026 8:42 am For being as big as he is, he doesn't fight for balls for shit. He sucks.

You saw what Tre Tucker did against the Rams. He was our only offense. Why? His speed.mstrbass2000 wrote: Mon Oct 26, 2026 8:37 am thorton stinks, outside of going long kid cant run routes and has questionable hands
You don't think Thorton on the other side to space the floor with his speed and size would be an asset?

tre tucker explodes a few times a yr and then goes missing "its his pattern" thorton is not an n.f.l wr, cant run routes, doesn't block much, doesn't win on 50/50 balls and has questionable hands, we see guys like him in the draft every yr ...they almost always fail and outta the league in 3-4 yrsmranquales wrote: Mon Oct 26, 2026 4:41 pm You saw what Tre Tucker did against the Rams.
