Game Day Thread: Raiders try to rebound vs. the sinking Rams
Will Stafford regain his footing or will the Raiders bring enough heat on him to cause the Rams to fall further behind in the NFC West? It’s a good test for the Raiders to see if we can take it to a team more injured than we are.
I think we will and we will get close to 100 rushing yards. Raiders 27, Rams 23.

Both sides of the ball came out flat and pukey the entire first half. This game wasn’t close despite the tiny bit of action in the 4th

Rams offense and defense weren't playing badly overall.ST cost them a couple games...Defense pass defense was great but they were getting gashed against the run...Their offense was missing Puka and he is the big key imo...Reno Hightower wrote: Sun Oct 25, 2026 4:29 pm What is frustrating is New England was playing like shit until they played us. Same for the Rams. Tired of this team hosting every's coming out party.
Not saying the Rams are great but perfect example of a team not as bad as their record...They have talent, just kept getting in their own way.
Maybe they were reading their own headlines prior to the season.

It's really as simple as needing better players. Kubiak has made some coaching mistakes but until he get's better talent at key positions this team will just play well enough to lose.

Does this count as a morale victory?

To me, I interpret it as letting him sit and soak in as much experience from the sideline as possible. Really learning what Kubiak wants to do on offense and understand his tendencies. Also not forcing a rookie QB to go out there and struggle, which can be challenging mentally, early in his career.
Just how I see it at least. Maybe others have a different opinion.
I would have liked to have seen him in the second half, for what it's worth.

Once you have someone curb stomped it's not uncommon to take your foot off the back of their head.

We desperately need an alpha in the middle of the D. Haven't had a good run D in ages.Oaktownonly wrote: Sun Oct 25, 2026 4:31 pm They know they're going to run the ball and can't stop it! That is beyond shitty.
