No clue where to post some stuff not necessarily team related but could be? Feel free to delete if this belongs somewhere else.
Maxx and Parsons would be nasty. I probably wouldn’t pay the price though.

& you’d be wrong again. He was a bad hire before & would be right now. Actually far worse now. He is merely a stop gap kind of coach. What’s the point of that if it goes to shit after a couple years. & he didn’t win a Super Bowl with the 9ers so, that doesn’t matter.Xramfan wrote: Wed Oct 21, 2026 12:36 pm I was one of them and would be again if that scenario was the same. At the time he would have been hands down the best coach the Raiders had hired in many years and he, back then, won everywhere he went. If he walked away like the niners after 3-4 years but led the raiders to the super like the niners, Id take that every time.
He’s not the worst HC you could get, that’s for sure. But he doesn’t ceiling isn’t high. He doesn’t set you up like other HC/GM tandems can. While it goes sour relatively quick. & that’s while he inherited a good roster & QB in Herbert who everyone loved/loves. Yeah, I’m good off that. Absolutely no to stubborn ass CEO HCs like him, his brother, Gruden, Bellichek, etc. There’s still more of these out there.

Herbert has been absolute ass this season...Not sure whether it's his OC or imo his head isn't focussed on football this season...Either way gotta love The chargers sucking ass.MexicanHulk wrote: Fri Oct 23, 2026 4:05 pm & you’d be wrong again. I mention him because a player on our team reminds me of him.

Bullshit. He got them there quickly. At the time, he would have been the raiders best coach in over a decade or so and he had a winning record everywhere. Id rather have a shot and lose in the super bowl than be picking in the top 7 in the draft each year. Your hindsight is working overtime.MexicanHulk wrote: Fri Oct 23, 2026 4:05 pm & you’d be wrong again. He was a bad hire before & would be right now. Actually far worse now. Its all moot now anyway and completely irrelevent but your argument is subjectively weak sauce.

Harbaugh would have been a sexy hire but wrong for the Raiders. We got exactly what we need in a head coach as painful as the journey has been to get here. With respect to the great Andy Reid these sixty something retreads in the AFC West are old enough to be Klint Kubiak's father.
We are a team on the rise and are poised to own the AFC West for the next decade.
Harbaugh lost his fastball at Michigan. f[raiders_icon]ck that clown.

Ultimately I think we're much better off with Kubiak than with Harbaugh. However it was never a Kubiak vs Harbaugh decision. The year that Harbaugh left Michigan and was hired by the Chargers, we hired Antonio Pierce. Can anyone provide a valid argument that AP is a better head coach than Jim Harbaugh? I didn't want Harbaugh, but the alternative turned out really shitty.

That also isn’t the argument. Harbaugh isn’t good either. Both were/would be bad hires then & now. That’s the main point. & yes, I’d rather go with a different option I don’t know is bad, hoping that it’s a home run hire, than the known, mediocre hire (Harbaugh) that will turn to shit quickly.chucker wrote: Fri Oct 23, 2026 8:24 pm Ultimately I think we're much better off with Kubiak than with Harbaugh. Sorry, it isn’t weak sauce just cause you don’t want it to be true. Doesn’t matter that he would have the best HC hire in a decade for the Raiders. Is that who you wanna compare a hire to? You’re reaching & you know it. The Raiders previous hires sucked & Harbaugh woulda been at best ok, while knowing it’s very bad longer term. Pretty much after 2-3yrs. & that’s only if you have a good base roster to start with, to boot.Xramfan wrote: Fri Oct 23, 2026 5:32 pm Bullshit. He got them there quickly. & pointing out that its hindsight does what for your argument? That’s kinda the point, in hindsight, he was the wrong choice. He’d be the wrong choice now. & for some reason you, with hindsight, still want to make the wrong choice? Yup, I easily 100% disagree with that. Not sure how you can’t either

herbert kinda sucked last yr and got much worse this yr due to horrible oline getting him killed...now the kid is shell shocked and getting happy feet...he needs to get traded to another situation or he will be ruined for goodRainman56 wrote: Fri Oct 23, 2026 4:12 pm Herbert has been absolute ass this season...Not sure whether it's his OC or imo his head isn't focussed on football this season...Either way gotta love The chargers sucking ass.

harbaugh stinks, how in the hell is he allowing herbert to get ruined with mike mc's stupid system with no oline to protect the kid...back to back yrs of horrible oline play and the team does not have the players needed to thrive in mikes systemMexicanHulk wrote: Sat Oct 24, 2026 8:46 am That also isn’t the argument. harbaugh is just as bad as ap was for the raiders ...the chargers and its ownership is allowing the franchise qb to be completely ruined because they couldn't find a way to fix the oline ...when all is said and done "we maybe seeing herbert become david carr in real time"chucker wrote: Fri Oct 23, 2026 8:24 pm Ultimately I think we're much better off with Kubiak than with Harbaugh. My nephew is a chargers fan and on their boards as much as I am here. His take is that either Harbaugh or McD has messed with Herberts footwork and made him not scramble as he used to. Fans believe that has changed up Herbert the most and messed up his strengths.
Who knows?
