NFL Trade Deadline
Ok maybe this doesn’t need its own thread but the deadline is 5 weeks away. I know the next couple weeks will determine if we are buyers but let’s say we get to 5-2 do we make a move?
I really wish we still had Jakobi here but it sounds like a few guys might be available…
Brian Thomas Jr
Marvin Harrison Jr
Jerry Jeudy
Thoughts?

Jeanty's not going anywhere, but it's fun to speculate.DeathStar24 wrote: Fri Oct 23, 2026 5:38 am If you're trading Jeanty, then who are you replacing him with? It can't just be Washington Jr.
Washington would be #1. Laube would spell him; he's also a solid blocking back who's better at it than Jeanty and Washington. We can find a guy somewhere to be our emergency back. Hell, if you're down to your emergency RB, you're screwed anyway.

Sincere mccormick can do what jeanty has so far in the running game this year.
Hopefully Jeanty starts playing better, its not just the poor blocking

So let's say hypothetically someone offers a 2027 2nd round pick for Jeanty. Do you move him?
I really think I would.

I would... RB's aren't hard to get. I'd trade Maxx right now if someone made the right offer.BoKnows81 wrote: Fri Oct 23, 2026 2:17 pm So let's say hypothetically someone offers a 2027 2nd round pick for Jeanty. Do you move him?

For 2nd I think you have to take it. He's not on pace for a second contract from the Raiders.BoKnows81 wrote: Fri Oct 23, 2026 2:17 pm So let's say hypothetically someone offers a 2027 2nd round pick for Jeanty. Do you move him?

Not sure if anyone’s posted it but, what if you package Jeanty & Cousins to the Vikings? They need a RB1 & a good passing QB. They have great receiving options already & a top Def. They’d be the Seacocks of last year. Only I think better offensively. Better offensively weapons for sure.
I think you should be able to get a 1st for sure from them. But it’d be end of the first. If Raiders throw in a 5th, could they do a 1st & 3rd? I think they’d be a SB favorite with those two.

Jon Gruden believes the Philadelphia Eagles and the Minnesota Vikings should contact the Las Vegas Raiders about a potential trade for QB Kirk Cousins:
"If I'm Philadelphia, knowing Jalen Hurts is out for the year, if I'm the Vikings [...] I'm going to offer the Raiders a second-round draft choice."
Gruden argued that Cousins could help either team compete for a Super Bowl, especially given the talent already on their rosters.

That a really good call if the Vikings offer a 2nd…my opinion is; let just play with what the Raiders have got and worry about the upgrade in the off-season…in season two under Kubiak; the raiders will be an improved team….got to remember we gave up two draft picks for Adams; in which those two picks might have been playing as starters on the raiders right now; where Adams just took off after a year….rcraider wrote: Sat Oct 24, 2026 4:18 am Jon Gruden believes the Philadelphia Eagles and the Minnesota Vikings should contact the Las Vegas Raiders about a potential trade for QB Kirk Cousins:

I'd say hell no! Not just yet on him as our OL sucks. Now, I'd never have selected him in the first place and I didn't on my draft ticker I keep yearly for the team.BoKnows81 wrote: Fri Oct 23, 2026 2:17 pm So let's say hypothetically someone offers a 2027 2nd round pick for Jeanty. I would 100% be in favor of listening to offers on Miller, JPJ, Cousins, Crosby and Pola-Mao. I'd move any of them in a heartbeat!

I get the gist of what Gruden is saying but he knows damn well this is not a plug and play league like MLB. Especially with QB's, even veteran QB's.rcraider wrote: Sat Oct 24, 2026 4:18 am Jon Gruden believes the Philadelphia Eagles and the Minnesota Vikings should contact the Las Vegas Raiders about a potential trade for QB Kirk Cousins:

who thinks jeanty even justifies a 2nd rd pick plus he is in yr 2 of his rookie deal, we cant even think about trading him off until yr 3BoKnows81 wrote: Fri Oct 23, 2026 2:17 pm So let's say hypothetically someone offers a 2027 2nd round pick for Jeanty. Do you move him?

Maybe the Vikings, mostly because of that defense, but the Eagkes look like they’re done snd Cousins wouldn’t change that. And I don’t think that either is giving up a second for him.rcraider wrote: Sat Oct 24, 2026 4:18 am Jon Gruden believes the Philadelphia Eagles and the Minnesota Vikings should contact the Las Vegas Raiders about a potential trade for QB Kirk Cousins:

cousin's former team is in need at qb too, penix is an avg qb with a history of being injury prone and tua is even worse...i think the falcons fvcked up big time getting rid of cousins about nowReno Hightower wrote: Sat Oct 24, 2026 6:44 am I get the gist of what Gruden is saying but he knows damn well this is not a plug and play league like MLB.
