If the Pat don’t get a touchdown soon, it will be a blow out in Chicago.

I keep reading this and I'm not sure why it keeps getting repeated. We moved down in the draft 20 spots to acquire more selections and ended up drafting Bech there. We didn't select him with our pick two spots above him. And who knows if Bech was even our intended target. Guys you think will slip to you sometimes don't. For all we know they may have felt either Belton, Trapilo or Rutledge would fall to them and none of them did. Both the bucs and the texans who selected WR's well above him are seeing the swing and a miss with Egbuka and Higgins. It's far from an exact science. And yes, as you already know I'm well aware of our own shortcomings drafting players.

...part of what bothers me about all of the commercials isn't just the obvious, but that that some of that time used to be spent showing stuff on the stuff going on on the sidelines, ted on the bench with a mask, etc,) or elsewhere in the stadium which I miss when it was replaced by cracking those extra commercials inReno Hightower wrote: Fri Oct 16, 2026 8:05 pm I am inclined to agree with you. From Thursday games to reducing my flatscreen from 72" to 48" by cramming advertisements during the game. In my opinion going to a 17 game schedule was a mistake and eventually they want an 18 game regular season. Purely greed driven.
I miss the John Madden Miller Lite commercials. Dandy Don, Howard Cossell and Frank Gifford MNF and the Marlborough Man on scoreboards.
We went to a lot of Seahawk games in the Kingdome when I was a kid. My dad and uncle used to drink "Kingbeers," basically it was Rainier beer in a plastic cup the size of a medium popcorn tub. I think those were $2.00?...
Great atmosphere though the Raiders used to take a lot of ass kickings in that place back then no matter how good they were.
Good times.

Yes every drat there is something where you say coulda should a …but he was right there for the taking and they f[raiders_icon]cked up. Bech sucks and let’s hope Roger’s and Grant eventually are good I guess…while Burden becomes the number one in a n elite offense.16 to 88 wrote: Thu Oct 22, 2026 10:32 pm I keep reading this and I'm not sure why it keeps getting repeated. By extension, the same could be said about all 31 other teams some of them twice including his own team that selected Loveland with the 10th pick in the draft. At the time they had zero idea if he would even be on the board when pick 39 rolled around just like we might have been hoping someone else would be there when we selected Bech. What we need is for Bech to get healthy and hopefully take to this offense and at least become a solid starter. Not to be missed in all this in that trade we also selected Rogers and Hemingway with the picks we acquired.

No posts anywhere for Thursday Night football?
Needed to comment:
It was very nice of the Raiders to let Jacoby Meyer go to the Jags because he's been catching passes from
Trevor Lawrence all the time. Not like the raiders needed wr's
