i agree 100% play the more explosive back (washington) we can all see the kid is explosive and much faster then jeantyMarzan wrote: Mon Oct 12, 2026 7:34 am He needs to sit or be put on IR until that ankle heals properly. No point playing hurt if you aren’t helping the team win. Shouldn’t be his decision to make

This Jeanty saga reminds me of the Baker Mayfield thing in Cleveland... player telling the coach how it is, instead of the other way around. I didn't expect that from Kubiak.

What do you think the player is telling the coach? If you mean medicals that’s one the team doctorsDr Death wrote: Fri Oct 23, 2026 2:33 am This Jeanty saga reminds me of the Baker Mayfield thing in Cleveland... player telling the coach how it is, instead of the other way around. I wanted Mason Graham on draft night. That was a little beyond our control because Cleveland drafted him before us. I think it may have been worth a trade up.
Trenches > Weapons.
Certainly at this stage of our rebuild.
And with JPJ turning out to be a lemon, I’m definitely wishing we had spent some of our top picks on trench players.
Btw, if this great catching RB good for one drop a game or what?

He catches well on balls to his core, but anything above his shoulders ie hands only catches seems to be a problem.Be_Easy_25 wrote: Fri Oct 23, 2026 5:00 am I wanted Mason Graham on draft night. From what I've read, Jeanty is the one insisting on playing. If that's the case, the coach should shut him down until he's healthy.Raidernation1979 wrote: Fri Oct 23, 2026 4:49 am What do you think the player is telling the coach? If you mean medicals that’s one the team doctors

Jeanty shouldn't pull himself from playing. What is he going to say.Hey coach I got a boo boo I can't play. His job is to suit up and play. Its the coaches job to put the best players on the field. If hes hurt they need to address that

Kubiak is the first coach to make Maxx take some snaps off, hes not letting Jeanty determine his playing status. Now maybe he made a poor decision to have Jeanty play but ive no doubt it was his and the doctors decisions

im beginning to look at jeanty as a bad pick, a rebuilding team taking a franchise rb is terrible thinking...it was like the nyg taking saquon and following with danny dimes

I understand Jeanty wants to play and he shouldn't take himself out. I also understand that if a guy is hurt and insists on playing, it's the coache's job to sit the guy until he's healthy, regardless of what the player wants.Mckdaddy wrote: Fri Oct 23, 2026 9:47 am Jeanty shouldn't pull himself from playing. What is he going to say.Hey coach I got a boo boo I can't play. His job is to suit up and play. Its the coaches job to put the best players on the field. If hes hurt they need to address that

If Jeanty is fine then he needs to be RB2 till his numbers look like RB1.
I really want to see Washington's numbers over 15-20 snaps per game in at least 3- or 4 games.
Lets the stats do the talking...

Wasn't directed at you.Was reading the thread and some people seem to be blaming Jeanty for playing hurt if that's what his issue isDr Death wrote: Fri Oct 23, 2026 2:41 pm I understand Jeanty wants to play and he shouldn't take himself out.
