Game Day thread: the mighty Josh Allen rolls the dice in Las Vegas

Unread post by RunOverByHubbard »

Which is the most likely outcome?
The Raiders revert to last year and lose by 20.
We battle them in a close game but don’t have enough talent on offense to win.
In a pleasant surprise we pull out a win with a decent running game that helps Cousins complete some downfield passes.
The Bills are 5.5 point favorites and the O/U is 53,5 Hemingway and Zuhn look to be out. I saw one thing that says Bowers is doubtful with a knee but the official NFL report says Full Participation in the last practice

I just want to see progress and smart football, like no head butting the opponent. Will N. Dean be the spy on Allen?

A tradition like no other. You need the defense to come through and time and time again they let the opposition go down the field with ease.

The fought to the end but the 3rd week(loss) in a row giving up over 30 points.

Our defensive sets is so frustrating to me. Like the last Bills TD drive was just peak Raiders defense the last 25 years. Absolutely no one in position, nor the coaches having a clue what the opposition might call. It's like the opposing team always being five steps ahead of our defense. It's so f[raiders_icon]cking aggravating.

Well at least the Rams game is winnable. But I'm sure Stafford, Puka and especially Adams will go bonkers on this trash D.

Its progress.

Its going to take another draft and free agency to get to the next level.
....some of these kids seem to forget that we have played only 6 games since having 'earned' the first pick in the last draft.

I’m afraid many aren’t super smart or instinctual…no team is going to shut out teams in today’s game…but the opposition is wide open often …that rollout by Allen and he and cook are wide open on that side…I mean that’s their two best players…I think m that play pissed me off

I agree with the kicks. At this point, keep punts, get rid of kickers, it’s f[raiders_icon]cking stupid that 52 guys can play their hearts out and lose because of a f[raiders_icon]cking guy that’s sits 97% of the game. Everyone starts at the 25. Going for 1 or 2 after a touchdown is running a play from the 5 or 10.

Called modern football. Almost off of these guys are amazing athletes, but many are just dumb as rocks and have horrible football instincts. Makes the game hard to watch sometimes.

Yeah that’s it. It’s called wanting to fudging win games. But keep telling yourself how awesome Reggie is, I mean Spytek is.

Imagine wanting Klint to succeed with a real GM as a bad thing

The one play I noticed Zuhn at right tackle, think his guy batted down a pass on that play, I'm pretty sure Glaze was playing beside him.

Edit.... yeap, just went back and watched. At 4:31 Zuhn was in as a 6th O-lineman.

Yeah it’s why I like the coach. Hard to stock the cupboards when your blowing draft picks

Walk over to the bills locker room and hammer out a deal for Crosby. Their defense is dreadful. Our defense had to face one of the best running games in the NFL and one of the best quarterbacks. They faced nothing of the sort and it sure looked to me they were continually holding Bowers today. Offer up Maxx for a 1 and a 2. If they come back with a 1 and a 3 take it. Both those picks will be at the bottom of those rounds anyway. That entire team is based on Allen and Cooks. I'm yee of little faith that when they go on the road in the playoffs that just those 2 things get them to the promise land.
