Money driving a business how odd. As their profit and popularity go through the roof Im sure they are upset that you don't like it.16 to 88 wrote: Thu Oct 15, 2026 10:44 pm Greed.
It's the driving force of the NFL plain and simple. Talk is cheap, watch their actions. The fact we didn't have to endure any of this garbage and just play Sunday to Sunday all season long with this year's schedule was such a major bonus...

Bo Nix's success as a quarterback has been nothing short of pure luck. that defense has completely overshadowed his deficiencies as a player. to extend Nix would be a mistake, and therefore, I hope Denver does it.

Kind of cool seeing the old uniforms. Reminded me of the AFC West matchups during the 1980's.raiders72 wrote: Thu Oct 15, 2026 8:46 pm I’ve said once I’ll say it again
Thursday night football is terrible
Too quick of a turnaround but I guess money is more important than player health and safety
You would think Teams coming off a bye would start the new week on Thursday at least there is rest for a better game…
Tonight’s game was hard to watch

I am inclined to agree with you. From Thursday games to reducing my flatscreen from 72" to 48" by cramming advertisements during the game. In my opinion going to a 17 game schedule was a mistake and eventually they want an 18 game regular season. Purely greed driven.16 to 88 wrote: Thu Oct 15, 2026 10:44 pm Greed.

I miss the John Madden Miller Lite commercials. Dandy Don, Howard Cossell and Frank Gifford MNF and the Marlborough Man on scoreboards.
We went to a lot of Seahawk games in the Kingdome when I was a kid. My dad and uncle used to drink "Kingbeers," basically it was Rainier beer in a plastic cup the size of a medium popcorn tub. I think those were $2.00?...
Great atmosphere though the Raiders used to take a lot of ass kickings in that place back then no matter how good they were.
Good times.
