On to the Pats

It was a tough call last weekend but not we go to the defending AFC champs if we beat them with a half dead coach we can do it now.

Doesn't make any sense giving Benson and Young continued chances when they've been bad all year, yet Thorton is in the doghouse.

It's obvious that certain players are on scholarship.

Last year that probably took the Raiders too lightly based of the previous years and they were at home.

I think they know they are in a dog fight this week.

Go Raiders!

Has the line moved because of all their injuries?

Disagree about it being obvious. Thornton hasn't had a full week of practice. They might just want to give him a few more days to get up to speed. Not everything has to be some Machiavelli chess move lol.

Still at 3.5. I don't think anyone of these were big surprises

Patriots should pick up the Raider killer Andy Dalton, bench Maye and start Andy for a sure fire win.

Excerpt from article:

HENDERSON, Nev. -- Las Vegas Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty did not practice Friday and is questionable for Sunday's matchup against the New England Patriots due to an ankle and foot injury, coach Klint Kubiak said.

Jeanty went from being a full participant Wednesday to being limited Thursday and sidelined during the team's final practice before traveling to Massachusetts. Jeanty's foot injury didn't appear on the practice report until Thursday.

Kubiak, however, didn't provide specifics on how Jeanty's foot injury occurred.

"It's that time of year," Kubiak said. "Guys are getting banged up, and if he can't go, then we got to get the next man up."

Jeanty has been dealing with an ankle injury since late August. He said that injury, in particular, hasn't impacted his performance through four weeks, and he expected to be 100% healthy "real soon."

TreVeyon Henderson is a solid RB, not much of a drop off if Rhamondre Stevenson is sidelined.

The biggest one is Gonzales…he’s good enough where he could really contain Bowers

Opoponax50 wrote: Thu Oct 08, 2026 2:50 pm The coaching staff needs to bite the bullet and sit him until he's actually healed. NFL players are hyper competitive and will play until it's physically impossible, so it's up the staff to sit them.

If they ask Jeanty if he's ready to go, of course the kid's going to say "Hell yeah!" But watching him play, it's clear he isn't.
I agree. Doesn’t look like himself in terms of lateral movement and acceleration and seems like he’s limping off the field at least once a game. Kind of feels like we’re playing with fire with the sheer number of times he gets up limping.

Sucks our bye week is so late but it’s a long season. Jeanty right now doesn’t look banged up…. He looks hurt imo. I think you’re better off giving him a couple weeks to get right and seeing if you can get something closer to a healthy jeanty for the back half of the season.
