On to the Pats
It was a tough call last weekend but not we go to the defending AFC champs if we beat them with a half dead coach we can do it now.

I expect a hard fought game. At the same time these aren’t the Pats of yesteryear. And last year they were a team where nearly every break went their way till the SB.
Maye has some good qualities and as this season has shown can turn the ball over a lot.
Either way I expect us to be competitive.

I hope Raiders give that offense hell.

A bounce back win on the East coast would show the 3-0 start wasn't an aberration.

All kidding aside? McDainels want my first choice that year he was hired. Lukewarm at best was how I describe it.
At the same time he was the one who pulled the plug on “the other guy” ending that multi-year stretch of futility at QB.
So let’s say mixed feelings about him. Stomp them into the dirt is the other feeling regarding them.

I dunno it's going to be a tough game as they dig out of their hole and with a big win against the Bills it's going to be nearly as hard as this last game to win.

Controversial take but I just want to win games. We need a Tyreek Hill on our team.
Pats game is the most important game of the season because it verifies that the Raiders as a legit threat in the AFC to make the playoffs. People will downplay the Pats if we win based on their current record, but the Pats beat the Bills and made the SB last year, they are desperately trying to right the ship to get back in the hunt. The Raiders are the perfect team for them to get some confidence back.
At the same time, the Raiders can regain their confidence beating the Pats as well and solidify themselves as a wildcard contender this season. If the Raiders can go 2-2 and beat two afc playoff threats (Pats, Browns) they are in great position the rest of the season to make it. If the Raiders go 3-1 in that same span, I don't see how they don't make the playoffs this year, having tiebreakers with almost all the other afc playoff threats.

The NE game is one of those I was hoping we could steal during this stretch. I really wish we could've beaten KC yesterday because it would've gone a long way toward mitigating this current stretch we're in.
We need this one badly.
Bills, Rams, 9'ers, Seahawks, Jets are what's in store for us after New England.
If we can beat NE and steal one of the above mentioned games and beat the Jets, it'd put us at 6-4 at the ten game mark, so this game is especially crucial.
Then we have the Donks, Browns, Chargers, Donks again, Titans, Cardinals, Chiefs.
Winning four of those would give us a 10-7 finish and likely WC berth.
Titans, Cards, split with Donks, and Cleveland seems the most likely route.

Absolutely not. F*** Tyreek Hill. The guy's washed up and a locker room cancer. We don't need anyone like that.mranquales wrote: Mon Oct 05, 2026 10:53 am Controversial take but I just want to win games. We need a Tyreek Hill on our team.
Stay the course, make the most of what we have, and pickup and/or draft WR in the offseason.

He is in negotiations with KC after their WRs went down. He may not even be physically able to play yet.Opoponax50 wrote: Mon Oct 05, 2026 11:40 am Absolutely not. F*** Tyreek Hill. The guy's washed up and a locker room cancer. We don't need anyone like that.
