The Chiefs Invade Vegas, The Game Day Thread
The line last I checked was 4.5 and the over/under was 47.5
Most the nation will get the game. What's on the menu? What is the drink of choice? Questions remain but one question will be answered today, are the Raiders pretenders to the thrown or are they legitimate. We will find out soon enough. But just in case, keep sharp objects away from you as you watch the Raiders host the Chiefs.
Enjoy the game

Again it changes the game completely so you cant say it lost us the gameSteve007 wrote: Sun Oct 04, 2026 4:48 pm This Raiders team would be tough to beat with a 16-10 lead in the 3rd. I think it was a bad decision.
Not going for that FG doesn’t cause the 3 point deficit we lost by, although people will say it does they have no correlation
You can say it is bad decision but it doesnt mean we’d have gotten the win

Tough game but they played till the end. I think we beat the Chiefs at Arrowhead. Still positive about the season because they played hard. I wasn’t expecting playoffs this year, but at least this Raiders team can beat any team on any given Sunday. That alone is huge going forward.BG3428 wrote: Sun Oct 04, 2026 4:48 pm Who had us in a shootout with the chiefs on your bingo card?
This team will lose games but I can handle looking like a good football team who doesn’t quit.
Spytek better be identifying a true #1 receiver to go with Bowers for next year. Once Kubiak has that and more depth in the trenches, we will be playoff contenders.
Just gonna sit back and enjoy the season.

For the first time in years there is positivity in a loss & shows me that we can be competitive during our hard run of games we have coming up
Maybe we can sneak a win or two against the heavy favourites

....i appreciate cousins and understand why he is in there at this time, but i will sat that were Mendoza ready to run the offense, his arm talent and could have made the difference today, when compared to cousins diminished arm, and his play based on his understanding of those limitations. ....and when that times comes, it should also take some heat off of our running game. ....we had guys open deep today, as the chiefs were stacking teh box and defending the shorter field.. .....we're getting there.....

He isn’t all that. We should have taken Boston over a safety

That misses the point. I just said we’re tough to beat with a 6 point lead in the third. You can’t afford to make big mistakes against the Chiefs.CWood24 wrote: Sun Oct 04, 2026 4:52 pm Again it changes the game completely so you cant say it lost us the game

I don’t see the advantage of going for it there. Without a running game it’s tough to get into the end zone assuming you make it. You might get stopped, you might make it and often end up with 3 later anyway. I prefer gambles with an edge.

Well unless Boston quits the NFL and somehow gets back into college, I don’t see what f[raiders_icon]cking crying about it is gonna do.Raidernation1979 wrote: Sun Oct 04, 2026 4:58 pm He isn’t all that. We should have taken Boston over a safety

You can put some of the blame on Kubiak himself. #1 why take points off the board at the beginning of the 3rd when you take the lead and, #2 the team got no or lost yards on critical possessions the whole game. The Raiders running game for the most part is a liability and can't be counted on. Too many 3rd and longs. Spread out the D, load up with receivers and throw the God Damn ball! Obviously, the fumble cost us the game on the most important kickoff of the day. Team played hard. it's a tough loss

His stubbornness of running Jeanty into a wall on every 1st & 2nd down in the A-gap when they were doing NOTHING and usually getting stuffed in the backfieldSteve007 wrote: Sun Oct 04, 2026 4:58 pm That misses the point. Yet he keeps moving up draft boards every week. Maybe you’re right. We’ll see. I’d rather Smith, but I’d definitely rather Charlie B over Coleman and/or Marsh.
