Game Day Thread, Saints Host the Raiders

Great venue, passionate fans. Love watching us play there because of the vibe. Gonna wrap some chicken strips in bacon and add some BBQ sauce and enjoy the game. Kickoff is at 3:25 local time.

This one sets up a big matchup next week, so let's take care of business today.

The remaining question is, will Bowers suit up and play? Time will tell.

I don't want to put a downer post in the postgame thread, so I'll dump it here. I guess it's not really such a downer, knowing that Stukes is most likely back next game.

No idea why he's still on the roster. He doesn't play in this scheme, he doesn't do anything positive, he can't cover for shit, and for being a "big hitter" he is usually late to the ballcarrier and trying to drag them down rather than making a big hit.

I guess I'll have to watch his special teams play because that must be the only thing he does to earn a roster spot. There are free agent safeties out there better than him.

Then it was tightened up and the rush came alive at the same time.

It's a tough league. The Saints are very talented and pushed us around in the 3rd quarter but the defense was good when it had to be.

rob made some adjustments and tightened everything up and brought pressure on shough...this is a good sign for the organization with kubiak adjusting play calling and rob adjusting defense we will be in games most of the yr...i feel good about my over 3.5 win bet in vegas
