What’s Cookin' on Gameday 2026

Unread post by Willmark »

(Since I was traveling these last few weeks)
In the vein of what's cooking with Scotman and Attyla.

As in years past, the 2026 What’s Cookin for Gameday thread. Post each week what you’re having on Gameday, drinks, appetizers etc,

Last year’s turned up some good stuff, so keep these in mind:

* Each week post what you are having for food, aka main dish.
* Appetizers?
* Desert?
* Each week what are you drinking?
* Include what you're having if you're tailgating.
* If you are ordering, what are you ordering?
* Brunch, you name it.

You know that's a good idea, thank you. A weekly game day cuisine tailored to visiting city the Raiders are playing in.

The Saints-Gumbo, hot links and beignets.
Patriots-Clam Chowder and whatever else they like in Boston
Jets-New York style pizza.

If they play overseas, meals that country is famous for...

I enjoy cooking this would be an excuse to try some new stuff and learn about the different culinary preferences around the country.

This past weekend -BBQ'd a santa maria style tri-trip, bacon-cheese garlic bread, golden butter rice and some spicy avocado salsa - brought it over to one of my long time friends house (who also is a Raiders fans), for all our kids. I'm just made I left a new jar of my fav BBQ sauce over there lol. He usually hosts and I'll bring or cook the food. Good times.

Lets get that W this sunday!

So you food geeks. I've really into quality extra virgin olive oil. I even take a shot before bed every night.

I use it on pretty much everything thats reasonable, Just love the stuff. Lots of fake crap out there and been using California ranch, Cobram estates and Pantanna to name a few.

So anyone know of any other high end ones?

Is there some purported benefit to a shot of olive oil at bedtime?
